Ah, this would be delicious. A masterstroke.
As we’ve covered extensively, the Left, the mainstream media, and the Democrats — one and the same — have been spending most of their time since Trump returned to the Oval Office vilifying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel. They call them the Gestapo, Trump’s evil secret police force, Nazi wannabes. In reality, all they’re trying to do is clean up the disastrous mess that former President Joe Biden left with his “Let everybody in!” border policies.
But a conservative influencer named Alyssa Marie floated a brilliant idea in March: change the name of ICE to NICE (the “N” would stand for “national”). This is pure genius: we would have to watch the CNN correspondents squirm every night as they relentlessly pounded their ubiquitous message, “NICE agents are the spawn of the devil.”
Just doesn’t have quite the same ring as their usual fodder, right?
It was actually first publicly proposed all the way back in 2018 by the late, great Dilbert comic strip creator and persuasion expert Scott Adams, so that anti-ICE Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) would have to run on platforms such as "Abolish NICE!"
Now that's funny stuff.
Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD- 08) and extremist California Gov. Gavin Newsom would be revealed as the nasty law enforcement haters they are, being forced to utter, “Those NICE officers are straight out of the Third Reich!”
On Sunday evening, the president took to Truth Social and enthusiastically endorsed the proposal. “GREAT IDEA!” he enthused:

Does his social media post indicate that he will officially pursue the name change? It’s unclear. But if I get a vote, it’s one hundred percent YES.

As White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday about the Secret Service agents who responded to the horrific Saturday night shooting at the White House Correspondents’ dinner, federal LEOs are actually people, not cardboard cutout villains:
They perform their duties daily, and they have children and families, too.

The video displays masculinity in its fullest form. I'm sure it's "deplorable" to some (like She Who Must Not Be Named, but I'll name her anyway: Hillary Rodham Clinton).
In my view, hate-mongers like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), Gavin Newsom, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker — the list goes on and on — should watch this on repeat for days at a time. These are the brave, regular American people that they demonize and put in harm’s way, while the Dems are doing everything in their power to prioritize those who came to this country illegally at the expense of our citizens.

Do it, President Trump, I implore you — change the name to NICE. What an utter joy it would be to see CNN’s Dana Bash choking on sentences like, “The Gestapo-like NICE agents saved the life of a drowning 4-year-old boy today in Plymouth, Minnesota [yes, they actually did]” or California Dem serial violence inciter Sen. Adam Schiff bulging his eyes and gritting his teeth as he bashes those dastardly "NICE" officers.
The Left is anything but nice, and they’ve been trying to provoke bloodshed, and as we’ve seen repeatedly, they’re getting exactly what they wished for. While changing the name of their hated agency would be a nice “in-your-face” move, it wouldn’t solve their desire to destroy America.
Nevertheless, I think it would be awesome, and I hope the Evil Orange Man does it. They deserve to be routinely humiliated because they are acting like enemies of the state.
It would be funny if it weren’t so shameful.
