She wrapped up what she thought was going to be her final press briefing on Friday, as she was scheduled to go on maternity leave. After Saturday night’s assassination attempt by a crazed leftist against President Trump and his cabinet members at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, however, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt felt that Monday was too important a day to stay home. It would be nice to rest up on the couch and prepare for her soon-to-be-born baby, but instead, she brought her usual fire to the podium and blasted the Left for their incendiary rhetoric.
Asked what the administration could do to bring down the temperature in this country, Leavitt brought out the receipts, quoting the inflammatory remarks made by folks like House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem “Maximum Warfare” Jeffries (NY-08), Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the always hate-mongering Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and the self-infatuated governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker.

The White House Press Secretary went on to blast the Democrats for refusing to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security, putting our nation and the duly elected commander in chief in constant danger.

She's 100 percent right about that.
Leavitt praised the actions of the Secret Service and reminded all the TDS-riddled haters that agents are just brave people doing their jobs:
These men and women are heroes. They perform their duties daily, and they have children and families, too. And they do it despite the political turmoil surrounding their agency. Make no mistake. This defunding of DHS should be a national scandal.
Leavitt has repeatedly shown that she is extremely talented at her job and doesn’t have to “circle back like Psaki” or flip through endless notebooks like Karine Jean-Pierre to tell her what to say. Ask her a question, and you will instantly get a finely detailed answer with plenty of punch.
Now, however, it’s time for maternity leave. We wish her the best of luck, but we’ll miss her in the meantime.
