The opening of Florida’s Alligator Alcatraz had the press gnashing their teeth more than a croc munching down a mullet. The complaints of inhumane treatment and the unethical threats from the surrounding swamp were prevalent – and once they actually began housing people, it got worse! The amusement was that the sympathetic wailing about the conditions was not based on witness testimony, but things the press was told by family members, that they had been told by the detainees. Suffice it to say that there were no 5-star reviews about being held prior to deportation.
Next, we looked at the emerging Autopen scandal involving former president Biden, and the way the press is behaving, we have to think this is serious – because the press is defending him in an unserious fashion. NBC News came up with a desperately pathetic comparison, and ABC News contradicted itself in claiming Biden was fully aware of all his pardons…as it admitted he was not fully aware. They are putting in more work making excuses for the man than in exploring the story itself, which explains everything.
Plus, on the topic of Biden, Jonathan Capehart mystifies us as he complains that “we” (meaning the press) are not covering Trump’s mental decline, and “we” should cover it like they did Biden’s mental decline – which they infamously did not cover. Like we said, it was mystifying. Then we close with a report from New York Magazine going into deep detail about how Canadians do not like America. Wading through the subtext, you get the impression that we are supposed to care about this reality.
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.

The complaints from Alligator Alcatraz are a laughable affair.
Even the most dramatic tale of a “hospitalization” at the facility was quickly debunked.
The Miami Herald alone has over 200 stories about Gator Gitmo, almost all of which are negative.
NBC News has an incompetent piece claiming the use of digital signatures on documents is the same as Biden’s Autopen scandal.
ABC News attempts to defend Biden from Trump’s attacks on the Autopen pardons and manages to instead prove the problem.
Jonathan Capehart wants Trump’s mental condition covered the way Biden’s mental condition was not covered…we…think…???
New York Magazine delivers an epic report on how Canadians do not like America, and the report on how much America cares could fit on a business card.
