It's crunch time in Wisconsin, folks.
Conservatives in Wisconsin are probably already keenly aware of the critical judicial election that will be happening Tuesday in the Badger State. For that matter, plenty of people on the left are also keenly aware of it. It's a critical race, we need every single warm body to turn out to vote for the conservative Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate, Brad Schimel. Wisconsin's former Governor Scott Walker, on Thursday, penned a column in the Washington Times explaining precisely why.
Judges are trying to block the will of the majority of us who voted for President Trump. The outcome of the Supreme Court race in Wisconsin could lead to yet another barrier to the Trump administration if radical Dane County Circuit Court Judge Susan Crawford is elected as a new justice. We can’t let that happen.
What, you may very well ask, makes a Wisconsin Supreme Court election so critical? Wisconsin is a state balanced, as are so many, between urban left and suburban and rural right; the left is well entrenched in Madison, and they intend to block every part of President Trump's agenda that they can, from allowing men to play on women's sports teams, to blocking the administration's efforts to repatriate people in the country illegally.
And Brad Schimel's opponent, Susan Crawford, is a dedicated leftist. Wisconsin has several such judges, as Governor Walker writes:
If Judge Crawford is elected to the High Court in Wisconsin, watch for her and the other three radical justices to try to block even more of the Trump agenda. I can see them attempting to stop any deportations from my home state. She must not win.
Another judge blocked President Trump’s executive order protecting female service members from having to live and bathe in common areas with service members who were born male. President Trump also signed an executive order protecting young women in sports from having to compete against biological men. It also protects them from having to share locker rooms and showers.
In Wisconsin, liberal Gov. Tony Evers tried to sneak language into the state budget that would replace “mother” with “inseminated person.” Thankfully, conservatives still hold majorities in the state Legislature, but the election of Judge Crawford could block further efforts to protect women in sports.
Then there is the judge who ordered the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to house men in women’s prisons. On top of that, the taxpayers have to pay for their female hormone treatment. That certainly does not protect the female prisoners in those facilities.
On Friday, Governor Walker also noted how Judge Crawford's election effort is heavily funded by money from outside Wisconsin:
Here is the headline:
— Scott Walker (@ScottWalker) March 28, 2025
“A Journal Sentinel review of the campaign reports for both candidates has found that around 77% of Crawford's donors come from outside Wisconsin, compared with only 15% of Schimel's backers.” https://t.co/kQECYMGg8u
Wisconsin conservatives, people from outside your state are spending big to influence your election. Believe me, as an Alaskan, I know how that feels.

So don't let them do it. Get out and vote. If you have to walk ten miles through the rain, get out and vote. If you have to push your grandmother ten miles in her wheelchair so she can vote, do it. If you have to drive your Tesla through a crowd of shrieking lunatics, get out and vote. Get out and vote as though your state depends on it, as though your country depends on it - because it does.
Let's get it done, Wisconsin. Forward!
