Well before the anti-ICE incident in Minnesota on Tuesday, Republicans had been warning that Democrats and their rage-filled, incendiary rhetoric towards immigration enforcement agents was going to further embolden their fanatical supporters into doing something dangerous, and which would not result in a good outcome.
That scenario is pretty much exactly what played out in a Minneapolis neighborhood where an operation was underway, and where an anti-ICE agitator appeared to hit an agent with her SUV, resulting in shots being fired that left the woman, identified as 37-year-old Renee Good, dead. The agent who was hit was treated at a nearby hospital and released.
In the aftermath, President Trump took to Truth Social to point the finger at Democrats, writing that "the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis. They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE."

Despite Trump and others pointing to the Democrats' demonization of agents over the last year as contributing to what happened, Democrats remain undeterred, with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey both blaming the Trump administration for the incident, with Walz going so far as to say the state of Minnesota was "at war with the federal government."
Predictably, Democrats like Walz and Frey fanning the flames has resulted in things getting even more out of hand, as GOP Rep. Derrick Van Orden (WI-03) shared on his X page Wednesday.
"This is the direct result of Democrats’ violent rhetoric. It must stop now," he noted, calling what happened at his Eau Claire office another example of a far-left "domestic terrorism":
Just hours after ICE officers were violently attacked in Minnesota yesterday, our Eau Claire office was targeted by an individual fueled by anti-ICE rhetoric—shouting slurs, pounding on our doors, and attempting to force his way inside.

A police report has reportedly been filed.
As for what happened on Tuesday in Minnesota, Van Orden also had a message for Walz:
This happened because of your incredibly inflammatory rhetoric.

"The left’s constant demonization of our officers, calling them 'American Gestapo' and vile slurs, is brainwashing and fueling this type of radicalization," the Congressman correctly observed in another message posted on X.
Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
