Minnesota Governor Tim Walz held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, speaking about the public ramp-up of anti-ICE "anger" and possibly calling in the state's National Guard, after an anti-ICE attack led to the shooting death of a woman who tried to run over an agent with her car on Wednesday.

RedState has thoroughly covered the incident, including the recent statement from President Trump, in which he talked about far-leftists inspiring the mobs to attack Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has also spoken on the attack, and did little to calm people about it with his remarks.

During Walz's presser, the Democrat governor spoke about sharing the anger of the people, while deriding unnamed others he claims "want a show," then praising people for "always" protesting peacefully:

He tried to gaslight people about the George Floyd riots of 2020 being "peaceful":

Walz spoke about people's desire to "speak up to this administration of how wrong this is," characterizing it as "a patriotic duty," and urging that it be "a peaceful resistance":

He announced that, if necessary, the Minnesota National Guard will "be deployed," if protests instead become violent. He also stressed that the Guardsmen are under his command, not the federal goverment's:

Walz expanded on the purpose of using the National Guard, including potentially protecting Minnesotans from "a rogue federal agent," adding that he "want[s] to be very careful":

Earlier on Wed., Secretary Kristi Noem responded to Gov. Walz's ridicule of how ICE agents are being used in Minnesota, wasting taxpayer dollars, reminding him that there's a massive grift taking place that took money out of people's wallets. She also railed against the "rampant assault against our law enforcement thanks to vilification from politicians like you."

Walz showed that hasn't ended, based on his new statement on Wednesday. He spoke against the Trump Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE, laying all blame for the woman's death on them, while paraphrasing the famous phrase from the McCarthy hearings:

Finally, Walz said MN has had enough "help from the federal government":
