It's become quite fashionable since Donald Trump's inauguration to hear about public figures, including some in Media World, finally coming around to admitting that, hey, Joe Biden's critics were right about his declining health - and the media's role in the cover-up - all along.
Though a few did it almost immediately after the infamous June 2024 presidential debate, which saw a lost and out-of-it Biden bumble through, and having to be led off the stage by then-First Lady Jill Biden when the debate was over, others waited until it was in their view acceptable to come clean on who knew what and when - and why the MSM were so reluctant to report on it in the first place.
Former NBC News "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd, for instance, confessed in an early April appearance on the Piers Morgan show that "The only thing I can chalk it up to is this, whatever you want to call it, this fear that some members of the media had sometimes that they would be perceived as helping Trump if they somehow diminished Biden. Right?"

Though you would think it's undeniable at this point, even among his most ardent apologists, that the revealing moment back in June confirmed once and for all that Biden was unfit for public office, there are still others out there who are pretending they never saw it coming.
Among them is Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who raised eyebrows in 2023 by initially refusing to endorse another four years of Kamala Harris as Biden's VP, saying in a Boston Public Radio interview at the time that "I really want to defer to what makes Biden comfortable on his team."
This time around, Warren was sitting down with podcaster Sam Fragoso, whose work has appeared on leftist sites like NPR, The Atlantic, and The New Republic, among others, when she was asked about Biden and if she regretted saying she never saw any issues with him on the health front until a few weeks after the debate.
How Fragoso more or less had her concede the point that she was full of it - and her facial expressions as she realized what he was doing, were awesome. Here's how the conversation went down:
Fragoso: "Do you regret saying that President Biden had a mental acuity, he had a sharpness to him? You said that up until July of last year."
Warren: "I said what I believed to be true."
Fragoso: "You think he was as sharp as you?"
Warren: (Long pause) "Um, I said I had not seen decline. (Pause) And I hadn’t at that point."
Fragoso: "You did not see any decline from 2024 Joe Biden to 2021 Joe Biden?"
Warren: "Not when I said that. You know, the thing is, he... look, he was sharp. He was on his feet. I saw him... live event. I had meetings with him a couple of times..."
Fragoso: "Senator, ‘on his feet’ is not praise. 'He can speak in sentences' is not praise." (Warren is heard and seen sighing in reluctant acknowledgement)
Warren: "Okay. Fair enough. Fair enough."

Even if Warren legitimately did not see any issues with Biden during their interactions (which, IMO, is implausible), she definitely saw what the rest of America saw during that debate, and yet still defended him for a few weeks after.
I've always considered Warren in the top ten list of most embarrassing Senators ever to hold the office, but I think with this, she jumps to the top five. That the people of Massachusetts keep sending her back to Capitol Hill is just further confirmation that things are deeply broken from a political standpoint in Kennedychusetts, and unfortunately, that doesn't look to be changing anytime soon.
