American intelligence agencies reportedly intercepted some jaw-dropping Ukrainian government communications in late 2022 that show officials openly discussing using supposed clean-energy infrastructure projects as cover to divert hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars.

Divert them where, you may ask?

The plan, according to a report summarizing the intercepts obtained by Just the News, was to route roughly 90% of that money, funneled through U.S. companies and sketchy subcontractors with hard-to-track contracts, straight to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to bankroll Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign.

Ukrainian officials were reportedly coordinating with unspecified U.S. Government personnel through USAID in Kyiv as part of the brazen scheme.

Holy election meddling, Batman.

Can you imagine if there was something like this chronicling Russian officials discussing plans to divert American taxpayer dollars to the Trump campaign?

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was made aware of the communications and subsequently asked USAID officials to dig deeper to determine whether the plot was actually carried out.

As the declassified summary obtained by Just the News states: “The Ukrainian Government and unspecified U.S. Government personnel, through USAID in Kyiv, reportedly developed a plan that would provide hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund an infrastructure project for Ukraine that would be used as a cover to send approximately 90% of funds allocated to the DNC to fund Joe Biden’s reelection campaign."

The officials were even confident the project would be funded initially, only to be deemed unnecessary later — by which point the money would already be impossible to claw back.

“Additionally, contracts would be executed that would be difficult to verify," the summary continues. "In this manner, most of the U.S. funding would be diverted to Joe Biden’s election campaign without the ability to track where exactly the funds came from.”

Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon, during a television appearance last week, was perplexed that nobody in the administration has been discussing the alleged scheme.

"They should be driving that narrative with evidence," he said. "They don't know how to command the podium ... They react. They counterpunch. They let other people throw the first punch ... and they don't tell the narrative."

Given that another week has passed with barely a word from the intel community, administration officials, or even many Republican politicians, Solomon’s concerns appear well-founded. Will that change with this new discovery?

Had roles been reversed as in the aforementioned hypothetical, this story would be running across legacy media outlets on a 24/7 cycle.

Gabbard’s team is now reportedly examining whether criminal referrals should be made to the FBI, after finding scant evidence that the Biden administration ever seriously investigated the communications.
