What Jill Biden Says About Joe's Hunter Pardon Beggars Belief, Especially Who She Blames

Joe Biden had said he would never pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

But as we all know, that was a bunch of horse hockey. Not only did he pardon Hunter in Dec. 2024 for the things he'd been convicted of, but he gave him a blanket pardon for anything he might have done for almost 11 years. He also gave family members pardons as well. That was an incredibly offensive use of the pardon power to protect his son, and his family, and frankly, questions that had been raised about himself.

Joe Biden repeatedly said he wouldn't pardon his son, who was convicted in June 2024 of three separate felony charges related to his purchase of a revolver in 2018 when he was battling a drug addiction, which he lied about on paperwork to obtain the gun. Hunter Biden also pleaded guilty to nine tax evasion charges in a separate case in September 2024.

Now, Jill Biden has weighed in on the subject during an interview about her new book. This is incredible. Watch as she tries to blame President Donald Trump for Joe going back on his word.

"And then the Justice Department changed. And I think that the process was not fair to Hunter," Jill Biden claimed to the interviewer on "CBS News Sunday Morning," Rita Braver.

"But when Trump was elected, things changed. And we knew that he would target Hunter. And we just could not let our son go to jail on a charge that no one would go, I mean, no one has ever gone to jail for."

She said she supported the pardon, and she said she "supposed" he pardoned the other family members because "they would be targeted."

Oh, baloney.

First, there were a lot of questions raised by the laptop, and contacts with foreign companies/nationals, including questions being raised about what Joe knew. But the Biden DOJ only pursued the gun and tax charges against Hunter. So don't talk to me about how Hunter was treated, especially given how President Donald Trump was targeted with lawfare for years.

Second, at one point, there was a deal on the table for Hunter under the Biden Department of Justice, but the judge scotched that deal.

Third, the claim that no one had ever gone to prison for such things is just ridiculously untrue.

Fourth, let's think about that conviction for a second. Did Jill Biden think Hunter wasn't going to have to go to prison under a Biden/Harris DOJ? What is she really admitting there?

Fifth, then what was the almost 11-year pardon about?

As we noted, Jill seems to have an issue with facts, claiming she'd never seen Joe Biden act as he did during the debate before or since. She even claimed she thought maybe he was having a stroke.

There's More to Jill Biden's Story That Makes Her Actions More Despicable

At this point, she doesn't exactly have a lot of credibility.
