President Donald Trump delivered an inspiring speech on Tuesday night.
Even in the face of howling Democrats who were trying to disrupt the event, he reached for those special moments to recognize important things for America, including things like getting the mastermind behind the Abbey Gate bombing and bringing home Marc Fogel from Russian captivity.
But through it all, most of the Democrats sat on their hands and didn't stand even for the sweetest moments, like 13-year-old DJ Daniel being named a Secret Service agent by Trump. Instead they held up ridiculous signs that even MSNBC hosts mocked and Fox's Dana Perino called out. Many held signs that said "False," and that was particularly apropos, given they were promoting fiction on the other signs saying "Musk Steals" and "Save Medicaid" (when it isn't in danger from President Trump).

But there was a small coterie of folks who walked out of the address, including Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX). Frost then posted a picture of the group, hilariously -- and frankly quite presumptuously -- comparing their tantrum to the actions of Civil Rights protesters. Throwing a tantrum because the American people voted for Trump and the Republicans isn't the same thing, guys.
We just walked out of the state of the Union. My shirt showed Trump an important message: NO KINGS LIVE HERE.

In the spirit of student protestors from the Civil Rights Movement, I’m proud to have protested and walked out with many of my colleagues. This is NOT a normal time. pic.twitter.com/A7gLTPLyko

Not only that but talk about a messaging fail with this picture. They had messaging on their shirts. Frost explains he had something on his shirt, "NO KINGS LIVE HERE."
But something is missing. Where is that in the picture? They're so intent on trying to look tough, they seem to have completely forgotten about showing the shirts and the message.
Instead, they just came off looking constipated.
They walked out on and rejected all those fine Americans Trump featured, which shows just how twisted they are. But frankly, I'm not even sure anyone noticed, because everyone was paying attention to the speech and what Trump was saying. So much for their "protest."
People had great fun mocking the self-important characters.

Upon first glance, I thought this was a laxative ad:
