President Donald Trump delivered a brilliant speech highlighting the best in America on Tuesday night. 

Meanwhile, the Democrats were the poster children for bad, juvenile behavior. They couldn't successfully make their points. So they held up dumb little signs, kicked up a ruckus, and/or walked out. One, Rep. Al Green (D-TX), even got tossed for getting out of hand. 

Even the folks at MSNBC thought it was pitiful, blaming the Democratic leadership and bashing the signs Democrats were holding up in the chamber.

But perhaps the most on-target analysis on the night from the mainstream media came from Fox's Dana Perino. She observed how Trump had said at the beginning of his speech that there was nothing he could say that would make the Democrats clap for him, no matter what he said or did. "Then, they proved him right," she said.

Perino said, "The Democratic Party still has no common sense. They have no ideas and they have no heart. They couldn’t even stand for the most inspiring moments of the speech."

Now, that's exactly right. When you can't stand for a kid who battled cancer and a 95-year-old mom who got her son back from Russian captivity after four years, you are just soulless. They've allowed their hatred for Trump to swallow any humanity they had. They don't know how to do anything else other than to whine about Trump. 

Perino also may just have had the tweet of the night as well, just dropping the Democrats for those creepy little "bingo signs" they were holding up to signal their displeasure with Trump. The signs were unhinged from reality, including “Save Medicaid" and “Musk Steals.” Do they really think that Musk is actually "stealing" from anyone? And the "Save Medicaid" is just another lie. Can they get any more pathetic? 

However, Perino nailed them good.

Boy, is that spot-on. They made themselves look worse than they already did, and they were already getting polls with 21 percent favorability. They haven't learned anything, it appears. So, to dig even deeper takes real talent. But they may have just done it with this effort, whether they get it or not.

I think any politician who still claims to be a Democrat should be thoroughly embarrassed by this if he or she has any honesty. They truly are lost in the wilderness at this point.
