When You've Lost MSNBC: Hosts Slam Dems' Dumb Moves During Trump Speech

Ian Sams, who used to work in the White House under Joe Biden and was also a Kamala Harris campaign official, gave the Democrats some good advice ahead of Tuesday night's joint address to Congress by President Donald Trump.

Warning for graphic language:

But as we now know, they went down the "dumb" road, causing a disruption at the start of the address. One member got tossed out by the Sergeant-at-Arms. Others walked out. But still others demonstrated some severe silliness, holding up things that looked like bingo or auction signs. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) even had a dry-erase board so she could write down her changing tantrums.

Some Democrats even sat through Trump honoring DJ Daniel, the 13-year-old who had brain cancer, and celebrating 95-year-old Malphine Fogel getting her son back from Russian captivity. That's how twisted they were.

Even some of the hosts at MSNBC got how bad this all looked. Host Michael Steele said he didn't know who came up with the "Bingo signs," but whoever it was "should be fired."

Symone Sanders called it an "indictment" of the Democratic leadership. These visuals are "not taking back the House in 2026," Sanders declared.

Steele was counseling something that was also dumb, although maybe not as dumb as the creepy little, easily photo-shoppable signs. He suggested that half of them should have walked out when Rep. Al Green (D-TX) was tossed for being disruptive. That would have just made them look like sore losers all the more.

The signs were embarrassing.

Musk steals? What has he stolen? This whole line that he wants to steal your Social Security check when he's the richest man in the world is so dumb, it's just incredible. And "Save Medicaid?" It's not in any danger from Trump. He's trying to eliminate fraud and waste so things like Medicaid and Social Security are protected.

The Democrats also violated one of the basic principles of the internet: Never give your opponent the opportunity to meme you because you did something silly, like hold up a sign.

But Democrats were intent on providing the Republicans and the American people with endless fodder for mockery. They committed suicide for the party, and MSNBC just threw in the dirt to cover them up.
