Joe Scarborough Tells Despicable Tall Tale About Jan. 6, Sparked by Something Scott Said About Trump

Joe Biden and the Democrats have been trying to resurrect the specter of Jan. 6, and the Trump/MAGA people as some kind of a threat to democracy, because they have nothing else to run on.

Of course, the compliant liberal media is right in there, picking up on the talking points. Twitchy has pointed out a particularly despicable take on the talking points from MSNBC's Joe Scarborough. Scarborough was commenting on Sen. Tim Scott's endorsement of Trump on Friday night--particularly, Scott saying we need a law and order president.

Above the tweet below, the host wrote:

4 cops are dead because of Trump’s riots. Ask their widows and children if Trump was a law and order president.

No police were killed that day, certainly not four. So, this was completely false and misleading. The article he subsequently linked to was also misleading by saying that.

This is something that Joe Biden has spread as well, claiming in his speech on Jan. 5 that he and his wife, "attended the funerals of police officers who died as a result of" January 6th--when he did no such thing.

There was one riot and it was not "Trump's riot." Trump encouraged people to act "peacefully and patriotically." Scarborough also messes up the talking points here -- he's supposed to say "insurrection," not riot.

Scarborough then tries to misuse "widows and children" to make his point, which was false to begin with. That was pretty disgusting.

Also, if we're talking about "law and order" -- that has always been the purview of the Republicans. We see Democrat DAs letting people loose in major cities, which has contributed to the lack of accountability for crimes, and resulting in an upswing of them.

He has to know this. But either way, what does that say about the quality of "journalism" that he demonstrates? He's little more than a Democratic operative.

But on top of that, Scarborough wants to talk about one riot?

Leftists have been involved in thousands of riots, with hundreds of them to support defunding the police in 2020. Many Democrats have called for defunding the police since then. The 2020 leftist riots/violent actions resulted in the actual deaths of more than 20 people including police/retired police and even an eight-year-old little girl. Many police were injured in the 2020 riot outside the White House, when Trump had to be rushed into a bunker by the Secret Service. None of the Democrats seem to have given a darn about the Jan. 20, 2017, inaugural riot against Trump, where more than 200 people were arrested (then, most of them got off and suffered no consequences).

The Democrats laughed about Trump being rushed to a bunker. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called law enforcement officers "stormtroopers" for trying to defend the Portland federal courthouse from what turned out to be more than 100 continuous days under attack--where, again, many law enforcement officers were injured. Kamala Harris and 13 Biden staffers contributed to a bail fund for those arrested during the riots in Minnesota in 2020.

Then, of course, there are the present, leftist anti-Israel/anti-US protests that have also had some riots/violence.

So, let's not talk about who is the party of law and order, and who is the party of riots, of attacking and trying to defund the police.

It isn't even close.
