President Donald Trump and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced that the Department of Justice is looking into the prosecution of CNN for its fake news on Iran bombing, and also for promoting ICEBlock, a new app that tells illegal immigrants when ICE agents are nearby.
Speaking from the new illegal immigration detention facility known as "Alligator Alcatraz" on Tuesday, Noem was asked about CNN pushing the app that lets a person track where ICE agents are and Border Czar Tom Homan's comments about prosecuting the network.
President Donald Trump responded, "It's okay with me," before Noem replied.

"We are working with the Department of Justice to see if we can prosecute them for that," the DHS secretary told the member of the press. "Because what they are doing is actively encouraging people to avoid law enforcement activities, operations."
"And we are going to actually go after them and prosecute them with the partnership of [..], if we can," she added. "Because what they are doing, we believe, is illegal."
Trump interjected, "And they [CNN] may be prosecuted also for having given false reports on the attack in Iran. They were giving totally false reports. It was totally obliterated. Our people have to be celebrated."
"Not come home and say 'what do you mean we didn't hit the target. We hit the target perfectly,'" he added. "So they may be very well prosecuted. What they did there, we think, is totally illegal."
It is truly mind-blowing that the legacy media doesn't get it that there is a new sheriff in town with Trump and his administration. And that their usual antics, ie, being on the wrong side of an 80-20 issue like illegal immigration, aren't going to fly.
During a White House Press Briefing on Monday, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about the ICEBlock app, given the massive rise in attacks and assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Leavitt first admitted she hadn't seen the CNN clip promoting the app but said that it sounded like "this would be an incitement of further violence against our ICE officers, as you just stated."
BREAKING 🚨 Karoline Leavitt left STUNNED after learning CNN is possibly “inciting vioIence” against ICE Agents by promoting an app that tracks them

"There's been a 500 percent increase in violence against ICE agents, law enforcement officers across the country who are just simply trying to do their jobs," she added. "And remove public safety threats from our communities, and that's something we as Americans, including journalists at CNN who live in many of these cities, where illegal aliens are hiding and were let in from the previous administrations, should be very grateful for."
"We haven't seen the clip. We will take a look at it," Leavitt continued. "But certainly, it's unacceptable that a major network would promote such an app that would encourage violence against law enforcement officers who are trying to keep our country safe."
RedState has reported on the numerous fake news reports around the illegal immigration issue, like gaslighting on anti-ICE riots, claiming the DHS denied medical care to an illegal alien child with leukemia, etc, that the DHS and others in the administration have called out media outlets for. Despite that, it seems to keep happening.
And who can forget those initial reports about the left's favorite once-deported illegal immigrant whom it so lovingly labeled simply "Maryland father."
As RedState reported:
For months, deported illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia has become the face of the left's anti-border enforcement movement. The alleged gang member and human trafficker has been glossed over by the press as a "Maryland father" despite evidence of a violent past, including domestic violence against his wife. At the same time, Democrat politicians, including Sen. Chris Van Hollen, actually traveled to El Salvador to gaze lovingly into his eyes.
Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
