The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) blew up the latest attempt by the legacy media to lie about ICE raids, calling out KTLA for reporting that the agency was targeting "a pregnant LA county mother."

In the post on Friday on X, the DHS responded to the LA market's report about the Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid and headline that read "DHS Secretary Kristi Noem attends ICE raid at home of pregnant L.A. County mother."

"FAKE NEWS. At this house was an illegal alien from Mexico who had previously been deported," the DHS post read. "His criminal history includes drug trafficking and assault. ICE had a warrant for his arrest."

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin, based in LA, also responded to the KTLA report and said the report was completely out of context, missing major facts.

"I was at this operation with Noem. It wasn't targeting a 'pregnant mother,' it was targeting her previously deported illegal alien Mexican husband who had been convicted of drug trafficking in February & had an attempted murder charge pleaded down to an assault conviction," Melugin's post on X read.

"ICE had a criminal judicial warrant for his arrest, signed off on by a federal judge because he illegally re-entered the U.S. after removal, which is a felony," he added. "Of course, none of that context is in @KTLA reporting here as they only spoke to his wife, who apparently shockingly didn't disclose any of his criminal history."

In the KTLA report, the news organization interviewed the pregnant mother, Sabrina Medina, and Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, both of whom were very upset about the ICE raid. However, the news channel never reports why they were at Medina's house, nor the disturbing details in the arrest warrant.

Honestly, this is getting so frustrating. President Donald Trump ran on getting illegal immigrants out of this country, and at every turn, he and the DHS have been prevented from doing just that.

And on top of it all, the legacy media have no plans to report the facts about these raids and instead are more interested in pushing a false narrative. This reminds me of the initial reports about the left's favorite once-deported illegal immigrant whom it so lovingly labeled simply "Maryland father."

For months, deported illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia has become the face of the left's anti-border enforcement movement. The alleged gang member and human trafficker has been glossed over by the press as a "Maryland father" despite evidence of a violent past, including domestic violence against his wife. At the same time, Democrat politicians, including Sen. Chris Van Hollen, actually traveled to El Salvador to gaze lovingly into his eyes.

It reminds me also of the current gaslighting over the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles. RedState has been on top of the riots since they started with our coverage of the protests that turned violent, with the rioters blocking the freeway, throwing chunks of concrete at the law enforcement officers, and burning Waymo cars.

Liberal media, along with Democrats like Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom, have tried to claim the police had everything under control with the riots and didn't need Trump to call in the National Guard and U.S. Marines.

However, LA Police Chief Jim McDonnell blew up the Democratic narrative about the "peaceful protests" and said things were out of control, RedState reported.
