When Will Biological Males Stop Dominating Women's Sporting Events?

In yet another ridiculous display showing the utter depravity of leftist gender ideology, two biological males won big at a women’s cycling event over the weekend, as my colleague Jennifer Oliver O'Connell wrote in a VIP piece published Friday.

This story is one of many highlighting the issue of having transgender females competing with actual women in sports.

The event took place in Chicago on Sunday, October 13.

Two transgender cyclists took home gold and silver at a women’s cycling event in Chicago — sparking fresh controversy as only one biological female made the podium.

Tessa Johnson, 25, won first place in the Women’s Single Speed and Cat Half categories at the Chicago CycloCross Cup (CCC) on October 7, while Evelyn Williamson, 30, placed second in the Single Speed contest.

Their efforts left only one biological female on the podium for the Single Speed race — Allison Zmuda.

For her success in the women’s Cat Half, Johnson won $150, and Williamson received $75 in prize money for placing fourth.

Records show Williamson has been racing in the women’s category since at least 2017, earning 18 titles.

But in 2020, she appeared to compete in both the men’s and women’s categories at the Sky Express Winter Criterium, where she won first place as a woman — but did not place against the men.

This situation highlights the ongoing debate around the fairness — or unfairness — of having transgender women, who have gone through male puberty, compete against biological females. Despite all the praise and adulation coming from folks on the left, lingering questions about the equity of this silliness remain.

Former track and field coach, Linda Blade, echoed sentiments expressed by a growing number of voices concerned about this issue. On social media, she wrote:

Race organizers of @usacycling need to stop calling these “women’s events.”

You are fooling nobody.

These are “beta-male races” where some women get to be involved.

In the process you are turning your “sport” into a joke.

Still, the organization that holds these events remains steadfast in catering to the delusion that it is perfectly acceptable to have biological men compete against women.

The annual event features over a dozen different races and openly welcomes trans riders.

“If you have found your way to a CCC event to race your bike and hopefully have some fun in the process… then you’re welcome here,” organizers say on the website.

“The CCC has always been first and foremost about fostering a positive and supportive community built around competitive cyclo-cross racing, and that means welcoming and challenging everyone who wants to contribute to the series and make it better,” it says.

“Discrimination or harassment of any kind on the basis of race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, national origin, sportsball team affiliation, or any other stupid ideas someone comes up with to belittle others will not be tolerated.”

Fortunately, not all cycling organizations are on board this particular train. The Union Cycliste Internationale, the world’s premier cycling governing body, prohibits transgender women who “transitioned” after going through male puberty from participating in women’s events

Not only is allowing biological males to compete in women's sports unfair, it can also be dangerous. In another incident, a female volleyball player at Hiwassee Dam High School suffered a serious concussion during a volleyball match.

Payton McNabb, a senior at Hiwassee Dam High School in Murphy, N.C., detailed for the first time the effects of the injury at a press conference Wednesday:

On Sept. 1, 2022, I was severely injured in a high school volleyball game by a transgender athlete on the opposing team. I suffered from a concussion and a neck injury that to this day I am still recovering from. Other injuries I still suffer from today include impaired vision, partial paralysis on my right side, constant headaches, as well as anxiety and depression.

Unfortunately, there are still far too many sporting institutions that cater to the woke crowd at the expense of women. Despite the fact that everyone knows men are physically stronger than women, these people insist on pushing this agenda and attacking those who dissent.

A transgender high school student made headlines when he exposed himself to 14-year-old girls in the shower facilities in Prairie Area School District (SPASD).

The girls entered the shower area with their swimsuits on, which was their common practice as they rinsed off. As they began to shower, the male student approached them, entered the shower area, announced “I’m trans, by the way,” and then undressed fully and showered completely naked right next to one of the girls. He was initially turned towards the wall but eventually turned and fully exposed his male genitalia to the four girls. Understandably, the girls were caught off guard and shocked, closed their eyes, and tried to hurry up and leave the showers as quickly as possible.

At some point, progressives are going to push this agenda too far. When outcomes like these become more common, and more female athletes are cheated out of victories, there will be more of a backlash. Right now, the issue has not become prevalent enough to bring about a significant outcry. But this may not hold in the future as more people see what is happening to women's sports.
