WNBA star Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Fever became an internet legend in June for her viral finger-point at an opponent during a game against the Phoenix Mercury. The boss, confident look on her face made new fans out of an untold number of people.
Not surprisingly, the incident involved Caitlin Clark, the phenom who regularly gets abused over racial and jealousy issues. Cunningham came to Clark’s defense after she was the recipient of yet another hard foul, and a meme was born:

Now Cunningham is making more news, and it’s driving the woke fans and the media crazy: She doesn’t think males should play on women’s teams. How dare she say such a thing!

The transgender cult is furious: She just AMPLIFIED more calls to ban biological males from women's sports 👏🏻
The Left is furious, which means the comments she made for a Tuesday ESPN profile must have been outrageous, right?
Actually, no, they were the sane opinions of a perfectly normal person, and it’s beyond belief that anyone would argue otherwise given the scientifically proven and obvious differences between the two genders.
"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that,'" she says. "I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."

Cue the hysterics from those who think that biologically born men should be stealing trophies and titles from women and injuring them with their superior strength.
"Sophie Cunningham is unafraid. Unafraid to be blatantly transphobic," one user on X declared.
[Said another:] "Sophie has one of the lowest IQs in the WNBA. the fact she thinks this is a problem proves it."
[…]
One user declared “Sophie Cunningham the transphobe!” while another unleashed:
“Sophie Cunningham is a transphobic racist grifting ass loser. She has to do literally anything to stay relevant bc it’s not like we can talk about her game bc SHE SUCKS… TRANS ATHLETES DESERVE TO PLAY!!!”
Lovely. Leftists are so polite and logical, aren’t they? But guess what — Sophie Cunningham does not care. She had a simple response to the eternally woke media who tried to shame her for her stance: “I said what I said.”

Never thought I’d say this, as someone who’s looked from afar at the endless controversies that surround the WNBA and the constant whining of the players, but there’s a legend being born in the league.
Don’t back down, Sophie, because you’re right and they’re disturbingly wrong.
