President Trump refused to hold back during his explosive "60 Minutes" interview with Norah O’Donnell on Sunday, torching the veteran CBS anchor after she shamelessly read aloud vile excerpts from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD) shooter’s manifesto.
This clip is incredible on so many levels. O'Donnell reads a statement from the would-be assassin, 31-year-old Cole Allen. She does not question what he's espousing. She does not denounce his absurd claims. She repeats an assassin's words. From his manifesto. Verbatim.
"The so-called manifesto is a stunning thing to read, Mr. President," she begins. "He appears to reference a motive in it."
"He writes this: 'Administration officials, they are targets," O'Donnell added. "And he also wrote this: 'I'm no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes."
The President knew she was going to play the game too. Watch him look to the camera at the 19-second mark when he realizes what O'Donnell is doing.
He immediately rolled poor Norah's effort here in a fire blanket and promptly stomped it out.

WHCD Suspect Made Cross-Country Trip - With More Than One Target in Mind
"Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would, because you're horrible people," Trump immediately fired back. "Yeah, he did write that. I'm not a rapist, I didn't rape anybody."
O'Donnell interjects, feigning ignorance. Sure, 95 percent of the time, her ignorance is legit, but this time it was fake.
"Oh, do you think he was referring to you?" she asked, knowing full well who he was referring to.
"Excuse me, excuse me. I'm not a pedophile," he refused to yield. "You read that crap from some sick person."
"I got associated with all the stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated," he continued. "Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let’s say, Epstein or other things."
But I said to myself, 'You know, I’ll do this interview and they’ll probably—I read the manifesto. You know, he’s a sick person. But you should be ashamed of yourself reading that, because I’m not any of those things. And I was never—excuse me, excuse me. You shouldn’t be reading that on 60 Minutes. You’re a disgrace.
You have to love how she absorbs that verbal punishment and promptly pivots to ... quoting the manifesto again.
"You're disgraceful," Trump concluded.
This segment right here is why you have otherwise normal people in everyday life repeating things like 'the President is a pedophile.' Incidentally, if you genuinely believe that, seek help. You're a moron.
O'Donnell repeats what the wannabe assassin says without challenging it. Doesn't point out he's insane. And she does so to allow her low-IQ viewers to spend the rest of the night nodding and shaking their heads in agreement.
Then those same viewers echo it in conversation to their friends and families the next day, leading to a whole gaggle of weapons-grade idiots barking the same talking point like a bunch of lobotomized seals.
And one day, eventually, one of them decides they want to go out and murder the "pedophile" that exists only in their little, vapid heads. Just like Allen.
O’Donnell wasn't reporting the news, much as she'd like you to believe. She was platforming a deranged assassin’s manifesto. She was amplifying his poisonous, dehumanizing rhetoric. She was feeding the same toxic rhetoric that turns online lunatics into real-world threats. Normalizing hatred, as the media does, they might as well be helping people like Allen load the gun themselves.
President Trump was right to call her out. The only objection here is that the word "disgraceful" is too tame.
