The Bizarre, Bitter, Homophobic End to Kamala Harris' Political Career

If you’ve been paying attention to what former vice president and failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris has been up to—and you can certainly be forgiven if you haven’t—you’d have to be wondering about now, just what in the hell is she doing?

As excerpt after excerpt is released, the unfathomable idiocy of her memoir “107 Days” becomes more and more apparent.

She has flambéed just about every ally she ever had, and has looked bitter, caustic, and vindictive every step of the way. Does she still harbor dreams of national office, or even local? Because she just nuked all those fantasies to smithereens with all her self-serving "revelations."

Even fangirl Rachel Maddow, the toast of the wine-sipping Affluent Liberal White Females on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, was aghast as Kamala basically admitted she was homophobic. As RedState’s Nick Arama reported, Maddow asked her if she refused to pick former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg as her running mate because he was gay. “That’s not what I said,” Kamala countered—and then, shockingly, went on to say exactly that:

But revealing herself as a bigot was far from the only head-spinning nugget from her book. As I mentioned, she turned on virtually everybody, including the man she tried to foist upon the nation as vice president, the ebullient governor from Minnesota, Tim “Jazz Hands” Walz. Ward Clark reports:

Now, in her book, Kamala Harris has tossed Tim Walz under an entire fleet of buses regarding his debate performance, which may be charitably described as "catastrophic."

Is this what you say about a friend, a political ally, someone whose support you might need in the future?

"Tim fell into a pattern of defending his record as a governor," Harris wrote. "Then he fumbled his answer when the moderator, predictably, questioned why he had claimed to be in Hong Kong during the democracy protests in Tiananmen Square."

I’m certainly no fan of Tim Walz, the man who stood idly by while Minneapolis burned, but he stood by her through thick and thin, and probably didn’t expect this as his reward.

But wait—there’s more! Did she have kind words to say about Joe Biden, the man who resurrected her floundering career after she faceplanted in the 2020 Democrat primaries and was utterly destroyed on the debate stage by Tulsi Gabbard? He picked her as vice president, despite the fact that she basically called him a racist and clearly wasn’t up to the job, but her message to him now is (profanity alert), "Va fangool!"

Now there's another revelation about how Joe Biden may have sandbagged her, right before she debated Donald Trump, as she was in a hotel preparing.

She claims Biden called her to wish her luck—and to scold her.

Kamala went on to say that Biden warned her about talking behind his back, and that the phone call rattled her right before her big debate with Trump. Even if true, why share that? It only makes both players look weak and insecure.

Biden folks had words about her new tome: look in the mirror, Ms. Harris.

We could go on, but you get the idea. She went after California Gov. Gavin Newsom (who she said didn’t return her call—why put that out there? It just makes you look small)—Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, former First Lady Jill Biden… I’m sure I’m missing somebody.

I do not harbor any affection for the people she slammed, and I certainly don’t feel sorry for them because they were (or still are) part of a Democrat/progressive movement that threatened the very soul of our nation. But I’m not a Democrat, and I’m not fantasizing about someday running for higher office as a Dem —while she is.

It’s utterly baffling that she would burn so many bridges and, in my view, torch any political future she may have had. She is D-O-N-E done, stick a fork in her (political aspirations).

What was she thinking? Maybe, as her detractors have long opined, she was really not thinking very much at all.

In any case, I will be mighty surprised if she is able to recover from this fiasco and return to national prominence. She just doused her career in gasoline, propane, and TNT, and then torched the whole shebang with a flamethrower. I won’t miss her, but I will still be left with the question: what the heck are you doing?!
