Was Kamala Harris really just Hillary Clinton 2.0?
Between Harris' book and her new Substack, she's all about complaining about how people did her wrong, and that's why she lost her run for president—and it's not because she was a horrible candidate with a failed record, of course.
In a post on X and her Substack, Harris argued that people now regret voting for President Donald Trump. She essentially scolded voters, saying she told them so. She didn't have any real facts to support the claim, and it's also a dumb move to scold voters if you want them to vote for you in the future.
She's also revealing more about the tensions she had with the Biden team. My colleague Rusty Weiss wrote earlier about an exchange that Doug Emhoff had with Jill Biden, and the bitter takeaway from Harris on it.

Now there's another revelation about how Joe Biden may have sandbagged her, right before she debated Donald Trump, as she was in a hotel preparing.
She claims Biden called her to wish her luck—and to scold her.
"My brother called. He’s been talking to a group of real power brokers in Philly," according to an excerpt of the book in The Guardian. He then allegedly asked if Harris was familiar with several people related to the matter, which she was not.
"His brother had told him that those guys were not going to support me because I’d been saying bad things about him. He wasn’t inclined to believe it, he claimed, but he thought I should know in case my team had been encouraging me to put daylight between the two of us," Harris wrote in the book, according to an excerpt of the book in The Guardian.
Biden then went on to talk about his past debate performances, leaving Harris confused, "angry and disappointed," according to The Guardian. She was upset that her boss had called before a critical moment in her political career and made "it all about himself." Harris added that Biden was "distracting me with worry about hostile power-brokers in the biggest city of the most important state."
She said her husband told her to shake it off.
Kamala seems incredibly insecure, thinking everyone is refusing to help her or is actively getting in the way. I'll give her that Joe Biden was probably not the best boss, and I wouldn't put it past him to deliberately rattle her. He's just that petty.
But this is ridiculous. If she can't handle Biden, how could she handle the job of being president, which is infinitely harder?
She also revealed in the book that she didn't realize how bad her infamous comment on The View was. That was the comment where she was asked what she would do differently than Biden, and she couldn't come up with anything. How could she not know how bad that was?
Then she also revealed she didn't choose Pete Buttigieg, who was her friend and her first choice, as her running mate because he was gay. Why would she admit that now, when it just makes her look cowardly? Again, lack of judgment.

Why would anyone vote for someone like this? But I must admit, I find her whining now funny. The fact she doesn't understand that she's stepping in it, again, is also just icing on the cake.
