Normally, I wouldn’t be ranking on teenagers in my writing, because they’re young and often stupid, and I myself racked up enough boneheaded moves in those years to fill a book (one that I hope would never see the light of day).
I also try not to get too emotionally involved in stories that I type, because they can cloud your judgment, but I admit that became virtually impossible as we watched Joe Biden and the extremist Democrats try to destroy the country. How can you not have strong feelings about that?
There’s another story (or stories) going around that really riles me up. As a father of daughters (and an awesome son) and someone who grew up with numerous sisters and step-sisters, this whole men cosplaying in women’s sports things really ticks me off, and I’ve written about it extensively. The idea of men and boys competing in high-level athletic events against women and girls is so against basic decency and normal human values that it’s staggering that so many progressives continue to support it, despite 80 percent of the American public recognizing that it is fundamentally wrong.
I vividly remember talking to a liberal relative of mine over the holidays 10-15 years ago and saying, “Just you watch. This thing is going to be the next big issue.”
“That’ll never happen!” he scoffed. “That’s absurd.” Of course, he’s never come back to that conversation or admitted that he was egregiously mistaken, or that what I predicted is exactly what happened. Males are regularly injuring females, taking their trophies, and making a mockery out of fairness while Democrats like California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom stand idly by and preen for the cameras or beg for attention on podcasts.

The issue really became a national conversation when former Kentucky swim star Riley Gaines bravely told her story about being forced to go up against 6’ 1” inch fully functioning dude Lia Thomas in competition, and how she was humiliated by the very people who were supposed to protect her as he waltzed around the locker room naked and took medals that rightfully should have been hers. Former Levi’s executive Jennifer Sey, the founder of XX-XY Athletics, has also been a strong voice in the debate.
Donald Trump to his everlasting credit has also taken the issue head-on, issuing an executive order that demanded this scourge be excised from federally funded institutions.
The ridiculousness really came to a head this weekend, as events in California and Oregon exposed the utter insanity of what the progressives have allowed—pushed—to happen. RedState’s Katie Jerkovich was on site in Clovis, CA, where parents stood up for their daughters, but in both aforementioned states, male athletes dominated the competition and made a mockery of sport.

What sticks in my craw the most, however, is that we seem to have created a new breed of morality-free, cold-blooded, cultish “athletes” that do not care in the slightest about the damage they're doing to America's women. Last I checked on Lia Thomas, he could give a flying funk about the harm he has wrought on other people:

And now we have a newcomer in the Clueless Olympics: "Veronica" Garcia of the East Valley of Spokane, WA, who won the 400m by nearly a second at the championships on Saturday and also helped the school "win" the 4x100m relay. Does he have any graceful words to show that he understands what he is doing is controversial? Hell no; he’s a defiant jerk who wants to smash his toxicity into the faces of all decent-thinking people, whom he tells to “get a life”:
[Protest against me] … ‘didn’t have their intended effect. It made me angry, but not angry as in, I wanted to give up, but angry as in, I’m going to push,' Garcia said.
'I’m going to put this in the most PG-13 way, I’m just going to say it’s a damn shame they don’t have anything else better to do. I hope they get a life. But oh well. It just shows who they are as people.'
The 17-year-old continued: 'I’m really proud of myself... I did what I came to do, and that’s good enough for me.'
How you can be proud of a tainted and fraudulent victory is beyond my comprehension. What has happened to America’s youth?

What a disgusting place we’ve ended up in the U.S. when this is allowed to happen. This isn’t about people’s “identity” or “equity” or any of their other stupid buzzwords; it’s about fundamental fairness and decency. CA Gov. Gavin Newsom must answer for this travesty, Oregon’s Gov. Tina Kotek must be held to account, and former President Joe Biden’s advocacy of this nuttery must never be forgotten.
