In March, RedState brought you the story of Reese Hogan, the female California track and field athlete who made a powerful statement by taking her rightful place at the #1 spot on the podium after the official (bogus) medal ceremony had taken place. In that affront to justice, a male “won” and received the top honors.
“This is how you do it,” I wrote, and argued that we needed to see more of this to end this scourge on society. Men shouldn’t be competing against women in high-level athletics; there is no “if, and, or but” to the conversation.
Lo and behold, we did see more of it Saturday night when two Oregon girls bravely took a stand and refused to stay on the podium when a male athlete was awarded a medal.
A pair of girls' track and field athletes did not stand on the medal podium alongside a transgender athlete for high jump at the Oregon state championship on Saturday night.
Footage obtained by Fox News Digital showed the two high school seniors, Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School, step down from their respective spots on the podium next to a trans athlete who represented Ida B. Wells High School.
Eckard, in fourth place, and Anderson, in third, each finished ahead of the trans athlete, who tied for fifth place. But the two females faced the opposite direction as the other competitors received their medals from officials.
Outspoken former University of Kentucky swim star Riley Gaines appreciated the gesture, writing, “girls have had enough.”

After the interview, the girls said there was no hate in their hearts, and they didn’t do it because they wished ill on anyone. They were just protesting the lack of basic fairness toward women and girls:
"We didn’t refuse to stand on the podium out of hate. We did it because someone has to say this isn’t right. In order to protect the integrity and fairness of girls sports we must stand up for what is right," Anderson said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
More and more female athletes are taking a stand against this insanity, and some are even getting punished for it:

Two female athletes told up for themselves and all women today by not standing on a podium with a MAN at Oregon's high jump state championship.

Not all heroes wear capes.
Good for them!
Shame on the adult who pushed them off to the sidelines.

This is how this scourge ends. Even creepy Democrat politicians will run away from the optics of seeing women and girls protesting the inherent unsafety and unfairness that leftists have pushed on society. Good for Reese Hogan, good for these two young ladies, good for the fencer, and good for all of them who are brave enough to say enough is enough.
More of this, please.
