The once-Great Britain has a host of problems. For one, free speech no longer exists for ethnic Brits; you can wave a communist flag, you can wave a "Palestinian" flag, you can wave an LGTBQ+ flag, but try waving a British flag, and you might find yourself in trouble. And, sadly, if you dare to object to the tens of thousands of Third World "migrants" flooding into the country, you may be in trouble there, too.
Of course, the "migrants" continue to flood in, many crossing the English Channel in the notorious small boat flotillas. These people are welcomed, fed, clothed and housed at the expense of the British taxpayers. We have noted, in this and in other, similar mass migrations around the world, that a large majority of the illegal aliens seem to be young, military-aged men.
Now, the British Home Secretary, more or less the equivalent of the American Secretary of the Interior, may have told us why: Any women on these boats are virtually certain to be sexually assaulted en route.
Nearly all women who attempt to reach the UK in small boats from northern France are raped on their journey, according to the Home Secretary.
In an interview with The Rest Is Politics podcast, Shabana Mahmood said sexual abusers would exploit most asylum seekers as long as traffickers continued to decide who came to Britain.
She said: 'We’re not in control of this border. The sifting of the people that end up in the north of France and are about to get on a dinghy is done by criminal gangs who are also, by the way, people traffickers.
'You can almost guarantee that every woman that’s in the north of France has probably been raped along the journey.
Yes, that's a safe bet. These people are coming from countries, from cultures, where women have no rights, not even the right to leave their homes without male permission and/or male accompaniment. These people are coming from countries, from cultures, where women are treated like property.
The abuse isn't limited to women, either. These are the people Britain is willingly importing, these are people the Labour government is incentivizing to come to Britain, are paying to come to Britain. The pushback is, slowly, increasing; but will it be enough?
'Some of the men too, they’ve certainly been abused and threatened. That is not the model that should decide whether somebody gets to come to the UK, make this their place of sanctuary and ultimately become one of us.'
About 300 anti-migrant protesters clashed with police on Sunday after dozens of migrants arrived at a historic naval port via small boat using a 'new route' to evade detection.
Here's where the Home Secretary goes off the rails.
Speaking to the former Tory minister Rory Stewart and Tony Blair’s former close adviser Alastair Campbell, Mahmood said the balaclava-wearing protesters shutting down ports and praising her policies should 'sod off'.
'They’re just troublemakers. You know, they’d kill me in a minute if they could, and they’d definitely kick me out of my own country,' she said.
'So let’s just be really clear about who and what they are. They don’t think I’m a true Brit and they hate the fact that I’m a Muslim.'
This is an outpouring of the sort of stuff that one finds under the south end of a northbound horse. These people are not troublemakers. They are British citizens who are angered that their country is being handed over to people who invaded their island's shores illegally and who have been welcomed by the Labour government. They are British citizens who are tired of being expected to pony up for the housing, feeding, and clothing of people who flooded in from the Third World in stolen pleasure boats. They wouldn't kill her; that's the worst sort of pandering hyperbole. But they are growing angry, and we find we cannot blame them.
And, to the Home Secretary, I would say only this: If you accept the importation of tens of thousands of people entering Britain illegally, if you encourage the importation of people from the Third World, with nothing to recommend them save a penchant for sexual assault, and if you seek to continue this practice despite your knowledge of the very danger these people represent, then yes, your status as a "true Brit" is in question.
205,000 people are estimated to have arrived in Britain via these "small boat" convoys. 205,000 people who are being housed, clothed and fed at the expense of the British taxpayers. 205,000 people who are not doctors, lawyers, businesspeople, or even skilled laborers. They are, however, people who are largely from Third World cultures where the abuse of women is routine. That's what Britain is buying, and it may be too late for the U.K. to change course now.
And, as always, look to the American Left, because what they are doing in Europe now, they will attempt here later. On this day of all days, remember, they will attempt it here.
