Have you heard of Domingo Tomás Domínguez?
Domingo Tomás Domínguez is a 68-year-old Spanish man who was recently set upon, thrown to the ground, and beaten while on his morning walk. Three "migrants" of Moroccan origin were arrested for the attack. Señor Domínguez was not robbed; his attackers did not demand money or any of his belongings. This appears to be an attack motivated simply by hate - an attack by three Moroccan "migrants" who, without reason or rationale, set upon an innocent older Spanish man.
This incident seems to have been a fuse. The Spanish people have had enough of the unchecked flow of "migrants" from the Third World, and they are taking to the streets to demonstrate their anger. The Spanish government and the Spanish police seem to be cracking down on the Spanish protestors.
The worst of the unrest occurred at the weekend, when groups of youths - some hooded - attacked vehicles and businesses. Clashes were also reported between far-right groups and people of North African origin.
On Sunday night journalists witnessed several dozen youths hurling glass bottles and other objects at riot police.
In a CCTV video shared by several Spanish outlets, a group of men, some armed with bats and sticks, could be seen vandalising a kebab shop on the same night.
Torre Pacheco mayor Pedro Ángel Roca called on the "migrant community not to leave their homes and not to confront rioters".
Many of the town's residents of migrant origin work in the area's booming agricultural sector, and some have complained of no longer feeling safe in the town. The mayor said they had been living in Torre Pachecho for more than 20 years.
The "migrants" don't appear to be listening. As for the attack on Señor Domínguez, it seems very likely that the attackers were motivated by nothing more than racism, although we do not yet know their motivations, and likely never will; at least, we won't hear them from Spain's or Europe's legacy media outlets. Instead, we hear cries of "racism" directed instead at the Spanish people who have had enough, who have given up on their government dealing with this mess, and who are taking to the streets in protest and, yes, outrage.
Another report, from the European Conservative, paints a somewhat different picture of this issue:
The security operation deployed by the Civil Guard and Local Police, reinforced by special units, has served more to shield migrant-heavy neighborhoods than to restore calm to a terrified population. The Government’s delegate in Murcia, Mariola Guevara, has insisted that “racist behavior” will not be tolerated, while failing to condemn the attack on the elderly man that started it all.
Local residents have responded to the Ministry of the Interior’s inaction with growing anger—while Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska has responded with his usual spin, deflecting blame instead of taking responsibility. On Monday, July 14, he blamed right-wing party VOX and “organized groups” for the unrest, accusing them of inciting hate. “It’s VOX’s fault and the fault of discourse like VOX’s,” he told Cadena SER, a well-known leftist radio station. Meanwhile, police unions continue to denounce a lack of resources.
So what happens next? Could this escalate? The Spanish people have clearly had enough. This is a pot that's been brewing for some time now, and not just in Spain.

European Commission Trying to Slip Illegal Immigrants in Through the Cracks
Spain, and indeed most of the nations of Western Europe, have been on this course for some time now. Unchecked immigration from the Third World, mostly northern Africa and the Middle East, is beginning to overwhelm the aging nations of Europe. It's bad enough that the various nations of Europe are on the edge of a demographic cliff, but the decisions of their governments to make up for the lack of young people by allowing a flood of largely unvetted immigration is inexplicable.
We're seeing more pushback by ethnic Europeans by the day - in Ireland, and now in Spain. And, as happened here during the failures of the Biden administration on this front, the legacy media are complicit.
Perhaps most striking is the unified effort by mainstream media and left-wing influencers to distort the facts and flip the story: racists attack immigrants because they are of a different colour. Nothing could be further from the truth, as has been explained time and again by the citizens themselves.
What exists is a feeling of disgust at the lack of respect, poor behaviour, and lack of integration of a large part of the Muslim population, especially Moroccans. Some sources suggest that Morocco may even be behind some of this tension as a strategy to generate chaos in Spain. It would not be the first time.
Morocco and Spain are staring at each other across the Strait of Gibraltar, and have a history of conflict going back to the Middle Ages. Spain was occupied by Islamic forces who, at one point, had conquered most of the Iberian Peninsula. Now, today, there are about a million Moroccans living in Spain. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
Meanwhile, much of Europe's media won't even discuss the issue. Even Sky News Australia is acknowledging the spin.
So what might happen next? So far, it doesn't look like the Spanish people are willing to back down. The Spanish government has been busily importing the Third World into Spain, and they are getting Third World behavior. I think we know the worst case; we saw it from 1936 to 1939. The Spanish Civil War erupted because of (in part) a failed military coup, and was fought between opposing political factions. It seems possible that Spain, if civil violence erupts again, will again be between left and right, with unchecked Third World immigration as the fuse.
Things in Spain are balanced on the edge. If the Spanish government could acknowledge the concern of the citizens, things might be brought back to some semblance of reason. But that, somehow, doesn't seem likely. Meanwhile, the rest of the nations of Europe are no doubt looking at Spain and their own migrant policies with some concern. Now, that government might be in for a sudden reminder of the fact that all governments exist only with the consent of the governed.
