The wins are still piling up, and we're not yet tired of writing about them.

On Wednesday, Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel announced the mass arrests of a record number of pedophile predators. These arrests come as part of a big joint operation.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel announced Wednesday that 205 alleged child sex predators who preyed on children online have been arrested in the last week.

The arrests are part of a new joint operation by the Justice Department and FBI called "Operation Restore Justice" which saw 115 children across the country rescued in the process, Bondi and Patel said.

Bondi called the operation "historic" and "unprecedented" and she warned parents to be vigilant of sex predators posing as children online. The operation spanned 55 field offices.

There are few humans (and I use the term "human" in the broadest possible sense) more despicable than people who would prey on children. The Trump administration, most especially the Justice Department, is clearly prioritizing the identification, arrest, and prosecution of these goblins.

"These depraved human beings, if convicted, will face the maximum penalty in prison, some [for] life," Bondi said at a press briefing.

"We will find you. We will arrest you, and we will charge you. If you are online targeting a child, you will not escape us. The FBI and the Department of Justice will come after you. And we will prosecute you."

Federal child pornography laws include penalties of up to life in prison and $500,000 in fines. That's not excessive at all for the crime described.

Some specific goblins were named:

Patel said that Jeremy Francis Klonskyv, a Minneapolis state trooper and former Army reservist, was arrested for producing child sexual abuse material while in uniform.

Jose Alexis Valdez Sosa, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was arrested in Norfolk, Virginia, for transporting a minor across state lines.

Meanwhile, Lynnwood Barnhill, a Metropolitan Police Department officer, was arrested for exploiting children while on supervised release. He is already a convicted sex offender.

We might note that during the Biden administration, enforcement of this (and many other crimes) was so lax that actual citizen sting groups formed to take down the pedophile predators. They had some great scores, too; teachers, cops, business owners – many of them are now cooling their heels in jail cells, and the Crowbar Hilton can be a really, really uncomfortable place for child abusers.

The videographers in question didn’t mete out any punishment. They were not vigilantes, in the strictest sense. That’s left up to law enforcement.  What they did was set up a situation where these creeps could and did incriminate themselves, and then they presented that to the authorities.

But that was then. This is now. The Justice Department is now obviously ready, willing, and able to commit significant resources to take these predators down hard, and they're doing it.

I count "success" in matters like this as "more pedophile predators in jail." Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, and all the agencies and officers working with them have turned in a big success with Operation Restore Justice; may they enjoy many, many more such successes.

The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie.
