After Unchecked Waves of Illegal Immigration, the British Are Now Strangers in Their Own Land

Great Britain is a storied land of legend. It was the home of the fabled King Arthur, along with such historic figures as Henry V, William Shakespeare, Isaac Newton, and Winston Churchill. This island nation once was the master of an empire on which the sun never set.

No longer. The Second World War and the decades that followed saw Britain's empire slip away, and the British people, who once had a globe-spanning navy and maintained a Pax Brittanica for centuries by their ironclad control of the world's seas, lost that grip, replaced by their larger, wealthier, more powerful offspring, the United States. Even after that, thanks in no small part to the "special relationship" defined by Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, Britain remained pretty great.

Now, unchecked waves of immigration from North Africa and the Middle East are changing Britain forever, and it's not changing for the better. In some locales, the British people are fighting back against the Islamic takeover of their nation. In places like Sunderland, the British are taking to the streets to challenge the government's policy of unchecked immigration. But is it too late?

It's also happening in Stoke, Staffordshire. Freelance journalist Andy Ngo brings us this report:

Did you get that? A British police officer tells a "Muslim patrol crowd" that they can, in effect, get away with having weapons if they stash them in a mosque. This brings to mind several questions:

What is a "Muslim patrol crowd"? Why do Muslims feel the need for whatever this is? Why are they patrolling, and to what end? Are they really no more organized than a "crowd"? Doesn't anybody in the British government have any problem with this?

According to Andy Ngo, the Muslim patrols have formed to fight "right-wing protesters."

Muslim vigilantes have gathered in the town to fight any right-wing protesters angry over purported two-tier policing and mass migration.

By this, do they mean ordinary British subjects who are tired of seeing their neighborhoods overrun by unchecked and unscreened waves of "asylum seekers"? Do they mean ordinary Brits, who are tired of grooming gangs?

Also, why would a policeman, in effect, tell them that they can stash their weapons in a mosque and get away with it? What kind of weapons are we talking about, anyway? Knives? Clubs? Something worse?

The simple fact is that it's probably too late for Britain. It's probably too late for Europe. The British, along with the French, the Germans, the Dutch, and most of the people of Europe, seem to have given up. They aren't reproducing. Their governments prostrate themselves before mobs of Third World immigrants who claim to be seeking asylum and who then refuse to assimilate. In another generation or two, most of Europe will be a series of Muslim caliphates, and the standard of living in those nations will drop to the level of, well, Muslim caliphates everywhere else.

We can't afford to worry too much about Britain or Europe, special relationship notwithstanding - we've got troubles of our own.
