Trump Demands Changes to September Debate but He Should Cancel It

Fresh on the unsurprising-to-everyone-but-Biden's-staff announcement that Joe Biden was bowing to the inevitable and leaving the race, Donald Trump has announced that his September debate with the Democrat nominee is off. Using Truth Social to make his announcement after Biden used X for his, Trump said:

My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September. Now that Joe has, not surprisingly , has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you! DJT

I think that renegotiating the terms of the scheduled debate is a good start, but it doesn't go far enough.

Trump should refuse to debate Harris and label her as an illegitimately selected candidate who was put into the race by unelected party oligarchs.

At this point, the spotlight needs to be focused on the Democrat decision to replace Biden, the hypocrisy of him staying in office, and treating Harris as an usurper in the field who has no right to be taken seriously.

Having seen Harris in action in the Democrat primaries, she's at best a midwit with no command of any issue. Trump would mop the floor with her in only the most metaphorical way. I'm making that clear because I spent time in the Twittter/X Gulag last week for hoping that Democrat candidates get "beat." That was advocating violence, according to Elon Musk's minions.

The left is already accusing him of cowardice, but he's really just keeping the Fox moderator from having to call 911 in mid-debate and report a figurative curb-stomping.
