With Republican Sens. Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) announcing this week that they'd vote no on confirming Todd Blanche as DOJ Attorney General, many political observers were thinking Sen. Bill Cassidy (LA) would continue his bitter little revenge tour and follow suit.
He surprised everyone, though, on Friday morning, announcing that he would vote to confirm the Acting AG to the permanent position, in a speech given on the Senate floor.
