'FAFO': Todd Blanche Shares Satisfying Update on NJ Agitator Seen Threatening to Kill ICE Agents

As RedState has reported, thanks to the purported "leadership" of Democrats at the state and local levels in New Jersey, the anti-ICE brigade who have taken position at the Delaney Hall Detention Facility in Newark have gotten out of control.

While their complaints center around unfounded claims of allegedly "inhumane conditions" for the illegal alien detainees, the real issue is what has taken place outside, where agitators have deliberately tried to provoke federal immigration agents into physical altercations, and in some cases were seen on video threatening to kill agents and their families.

Yet through it all, Democrat Gov. Mikie Sherrill, a proponent of illegal alien "sanctuary" policies, has put the blame on ICE and President Trump rather than the demonstrators who are fueling the unrest with their attempts at blockades and their purposeful goading of the agents.

Particularly disturbing was the man who Sherrill would likely call a "peaceful protester" seen in the following video clip, telling ICE during a confrontation at the Newark facility that he had seen an agent's face, and that he would "kill your whole f**king family" (language warning):

When Acting DOJ Attorney General Todd Blanche was asked about the video on Fox News, he assured people that the sicko making the disgusting threats would be caught and arrested because the DOJ had his face on video, too. "We will find him," Blanche vowed.

In an update to that story, the man has indeed been taken into custody and identified:

Leftist Nicholas Matthew Scelfo, 27, from Brooklyn, N.Y., has been arrested after threatening to kill a federal agent and his family during the ongoing riots outside the Delaney Hall detention center in Newark, N.J.

Scelfo was a participant in the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests and, more recently, the "No Kings" protests.

Sortor said Scelfo's home was "raided," presumably by the FBI, prior to his arrest.  He is facing federal felony charges.

Blanche took to X to confirm the news. "FAFO," he wrote:

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin also thanked the FBI for their actions in finding and taking the suspect into custody:

Thank you to the @FBI for arresting a rioter who threatened to kill an @ICEgov law enforcement officer and his family outside Delaney Hall.

Our officers are facing an 8,000% increase in death threats against them as they put their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst.

@POTUS and I will always stand with our law enforcement.

Additionally, Blanche also shared an update on the suspect in another violent incident where an immigration enforcement agent was allegedly bitten and kicked:

Today @TheJusticeDept charged rioter Brendan John Geier for allegedly kicking and biting ICE officers at Delaney Hall last night. We will not tolerate the vicious attacks on ICE officers we’ve seen in New Jersey the last few days. These riots are clearly not “peaceful protests” as you can see from the photos of these horrific wounds. Assault a federal officer, you’ll be held accountable.

Lock. them. up.

Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
