We reported on Monday about the staggering numbers released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that contrasted the successful efforts to combat illegal immigration under the Trump administration versus how things looked under the Biden-Harris administration.
"In April 2026, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded 8,943 apprehensions for the entire month," my colleague Ben Smith noted. "In December 2023, at the peak of Joe Biden's open-borders disaster, agents were logging 336 illegal crossings every single hour."
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin shared in the announcement that there had been "Twelve straight months of ZERO releases at the border. Under President Donald Trump's leadership, we are delivering the most secure border in American history."
"The days of catch and release are over," he added. "We are enforcing the nation’s laws and sending illegal aliens back to their home countries."

Self-Deportation Surge Hits New High As Trump Administration Enforces the Law
Obviously, a lot of time and energy have been put into making Trump's immigration enforcement agenda a success. But even with all that has been accomplished, there is still work to be done, as evidenced by a wild scene on Wednesday that took place in Florida and which involved ICE, illegals, and an embedded reporter.
Ben Bergquam, host of the "Law and Border" show on Real America's Voice (RAV) News, was embedded with the Florida Highway Patrol and ICE during an operation in Palm Beach. They were on the side of a highway arresting an illegal alien next to a white van when a crash happened just a few lanes over involving two trucks.
According to Bergquam, the truck in the front allegedly slammed on the brakes and allegedly caused the truck behind him to hit him. When the officers went over to investigate to see if everyone was okay, they discovered that the driver of the truck in the front was an illegal alien, too. He was also arrested and taken into custody.
"The density of the population of illegals in America - most Americans just can't comprehend it," Bergquam noted. "I mean, literally, we're picking up this guy [in the van], this guy [in the truck] is an illegal driving, gets rear-ended by this guy who is just on his way to work. Crazy."

"The moral of the story," he concluded, "is don't come into America illegally." Amen.
