Because the lamestream media are predictably biased, the impression they want to give in news reports about ICE operations around the country is that they're all chaotic, are met with overwhelming opposition, and routinely face impediment campaigns from woke professional agitators, similar to what we've seen in cities like Los Angeles and Portland.
But the reality of the matter is that many operations go off without much, if any incidents, something Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino pointed out in a Monday Fox News interview, as we previously reported.
"This [Minneapolis agitator campaigns against ICE] did not happen in Louisiana. Violence did not happen in Louisiana .... but we're here in Minneapolis, let me give you a statistic here," Bovino stated. "Well over 20 assaults on federal officers in three days here in Minnesota. In Louisiana, I counted one for that entire 30-day operation."
"I can only think that Gov. Walz and ... Mayor Frey ... they are responsible for what you saw in that store yesterday and the violence that our federal officers confront every single day in Minneapolis," Bovino went on to say about the sanctuary state/city Democrats.
As it turns out, this is a message that the Trump administration really wants to hammer between now and the midterm elections, with Vice President JD Vance noting in a tweet on Tuesday how it was "extremely important" for people who thought ICE operations were opposed everywhere to know that the places they meet the most resistance are the blue ones where city and state Democrats tag team to oppose federal enforcement at every opportunity, which whips up the woke mobs in the process:

Vance was responding to an X post from IWF's Inez Stepman, who wrote, "A point that isn’t hammered hard enough by ICE and admin spox imo is that these dangerous raids - in more ways than one - happen BECAUSE of sanctuary city/state policies. In red states following our immigration laws, most of these people are getting picked up at the courthouse or jail."
Reminding voters where the bulk of the chaos is puts the blame squarely on Democrats for not only creating an environment where criminal illegals feel they have the "right" to roam free and victimize more people, but also for the incendiary rhetoric coming from the likes of Walz, Frey, and other Dems that encourages the rabid left to target, harass, dox, impede, and/or, in some cases, assault these agents who are doing their jobs.
In other words, for all the bellyaching and TDSing Democrats have done about the supposed "cause' of the unrest in places like Minneapolis and Portland, what they really need to do is look in the mirror and do some serious soul-searching.
But they won't, because the whole reason they stand shoulder to shoulder with criminal illegals and are so welcoming of them in their communities despite their dangerous records is that they're desperate for the Hispanic vote, and they think this is the way to go about winning it - even if it comes at the expense of the lives of innocent, law-abiding Americans.
