Understandably, a lot of attention has been given to the trade deal President Donald Trump announced over the weekend between the United States and the European Union, with Trump noting, among other things, that "the European Union is going to agree to purchase from the United States $750 billion worth of energy."

"They are going to agree to invest into the United States $600 billion more than they're investing already," he added.

Amid a busy schedule during his trip to Scotland, which also included meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at Trump's Turnberry golf club on Monday to discuss the Israel-Hamas war as well as the war between Russia and Ukraine, Trump took some time to hit the links. It was there that the world got a chance for the first time to see "Golf Force One" in action.

"Golf Force One," for anyone wondering, is an armored golf cart-looking vehicle that presumably was built soon after Trump took office, some four months after the second attempt on the life of the then-GOP presidential nominee as he golfed at Trump International Golf Club in Florida:

As the president played at the Trump Turnberry course in South Ayrshire, Scotland, this weekend, an imposing, apparently heavily fortified black vehicle followed close behind — with security experts saying it bears all the hallmarks of an armor-reinforced golf cart in the mold of Trump’s official limo, a k a “The Beast.”

Trump drove a standard white golf cart as he played, but the bulky silhouette of the latest addition to his security fleet — which appears to be a modified Polaris Ranger XP — stood out like a sore thumb on the course.

The photos and videos are pretty impressive:

Interestingly, one media outlet seemed to want to cast doubt on the second assassination attempt in their write-up on the stepped-up security measures for Trump in Scotland, calling it an "alleged assassination attempt":

As the president hit the links of his Turnberry golf course this weekend, a black golf cart that appeared to be heavily fortified was seen following close behind.

Dubbed “Golf Force One” by media outlets, the souped-up cart arrives roughly 10 months after Trump survived an alleged assassination attempt while golfing.
