Newly released text messages pulled from Anthony Fauci’s government phone are shining a harsh light on the shocking gap between what top health officials discussed privately and what they told the public.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY) released one message chain they believe "could have an immediate impact (on) public health."
In it, the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director discusses concerns about COVID-19 mRNA vaccines for pregnant women with former Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky and former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy.
In the January 25th to 26th, 2021 exchange, Fauci himself noted that the second dose of the COVID vaccine “theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester” because of the strong fever and cytokine response it often triggered.

Yet in the months and years that followed, Fauci and other federal officials repeatedly insisted the shots were safe for pregnant women and urged them to get vaccinated without delay.
Just over one week later, Fauci appeared on the "JAMA network" to discuss concerns about the unproven vaccine regarding pregnant women and children.
"The FDA," he said, "(has) found, thus far — and we've got to be careful — but thus far, no red flags about that, about pregnant women."
"Theoretically could be associated with miscarriage" sounds like a red flag, and a pretty significant one at that. But then, I'm not "the Science."
In an interview with What to Expect in August of that year, Fauci was more definitive in his insistence that the vaccine was safe for pregnant women.
"Well, are the vaccines safe?" he said. "Tens and tens and tens of thousands of women who have been followed by the CDC who were vaccinated when they were pregnant, there's no indication whatsoever that there's any increase of any adverse issues in a pregnant woman who was vaccinated compared to a pregnant woman who wasn't vaccinated."
Fauci went on to say, "It really is pretty clear that pregnant women should get vaccinated" while downplaying the pregnancy risks by suggesting, "we all know that ... there is always a risk of a spontaneous miscarriage."
Imagine you went to see your family physician after they prescribed a medication that caused you to get sick. And you note that the doctor had insisted there was no risk of getting sick from said prescription.
Now imagine finding out he had privately told others in his office that he was concerned because the medicine "theoretically could be associated with" the illness you eventually ended up with.
Would you ever trust that man again? Could you ever trust that man again?
Johnson appeared on "The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show" to discuss the bombshell secret text message chain that had been gleaned from Fauci's cell phone.
He further explained that despite Fauci's initial concerns, the New England Journal of Medicine had published a "grossly misleading" paper by Tom Shimabukuro, a former Deputy Director for the Immunization Safety Office in the CDC, which analyzed confirmed pregnancies and concluded a miscarriage rate of 12.6 percent.

That number, he said, is about four times the rate of a normal pregnancy. Shocking, right? It gets worse.
"But here's what they did that was so grossly misleading. 700 of those women got their injection in the third trimester," Johnson explained. "A miscarriage ... is defined as anything up to 20 weeks. So the relevant (denominator), about 104 miscarriages divided by 127, which puts the miscarriage rate at 82 percent."
"So, Anthony Fauci knew about potential cytokine storms impacting the first trimester in miscarriages, told no one about it, because it would create vaccine hesitancy."
"All we heard from public officials was that this was perfectly safe for pregnancy," Johnson lamented.

Fauci's phone reportedly holds more than 34,000 text messages and 522 voicemails. Johnson's office indicates that strangely, only three contacts appear in the device’s address book — every other message is tied only to a raw phone number.
Investigators say it is still too early to know whether any data was deleted.
