Terror-Sympathizing ‘Journalist’ Caught Cozying Up With Mamdani As Mayor Plots to Arrest Bibi

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) rolled out the red carpet at Gracie Mansion for Motaz Azaiza—a Gaza “photojournalist” who has openly refused to condemn the October 7th Hamas massacre and has praised Yahya Sinwar, the architect of that slaughter.

Azaiza posted an image alongside the overly grinning dolt, with the caption, "It’s always good to be at the mayor's house."

Mere days after hosting the Hamas fanboy, Mamdani once again made headlines for considering efforts to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

The optics couldn’t be clearer. In Mamdani’s New York, cozying up to terror sympathizers is apparently no big deal, but fighting back against the actual terrorists might land you behind bars.

A little background on this friend of Mamdani's.

Azaiza is routinely framed as a neutral “photojournalist” by mainstream outlets, a label allowing him to rack up awards from Time and GQ, while conveniently overlooking his clear siding with Hamas.

For context, a little helpful reminder: Hamas is a U.S.-designated terrorist organization. They are responsible for the October 7th massacre that killed 1,200 Israelis and took over 250 hostages (at least 12 of whom were Americans).

You all knew that, of course, but Mamdani's buddy doesn't quite see it that way. And some of his propaganda goes well beyond objective documentation of the conflict.

In a March 2024 Instagram post, according to the Times of Israel, Azaiza stated that Palestinians should not be expected to condemn the terror attacks.

“If you want a besieged Palestinian to condemn it, you need to declare that you condemn what Israel [has] been doing against Palestinians before the 7th of October, since 1948 and during the genocide, and after it. Palestinians are not or not terrorists, Israeli killing Palestinians everyday like it’s a duty for them. Israel is a terror state."

The Times also reports that Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli nongovernmental organization that monitors Palestinian media, documented posts on a channel belonging to Azaiza that openly praised Hamas fighters.

“By Allah the almighty, these angels fight on our side. A message by one of the Mujahidin," one caption allegedly reads alongside an image of Hamas terrorists praying.

Another reportedly shows a masked Hamas gunman praying alongside an AK-47, with a message about men “loyal to their oath” to fight and sacrifice for Allah.

Algemeiner, a highly factual source, has reported on Azaiza's praise for Sinwar and his staunch belief that a single Palestinian life is “more important ... than a thousand Israelis.”

Charming fella.

When he's not palling around with like-minded, terror-adjacent extremists "journalists", Mamdani is busy fantasizing incessantly about his completely fictional authority to arrest Netanyahu

It should also be noted that a top aide to Mamdani tried to broker a meeting with Iran, which, like the mayor, would have ill intentions if they somehow managed to get their hands on the Israeli PM.

He's opening up lines of communication with an enemy of the nation, one that the United States is currently at war with, and discussing how to apprehend the leader of an ally.

Is it even vaguely beyond the realm of possibility that his office was trying to coordinate with Iran in capturing Netanyahu?

Editor’s Note: New York City is now facing the consequences of Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist takeover.
