An active-duty U.S. Air Force major stepped onto the Capitol steps in full uniform on Wednesday, demanding the impeachment and removal of President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
He was promptly and appropriately placed in handcuffs.
That's called 'entering the FAFO phase of the operation.'
Major Jason Watson’s dramatic public stunt, captured on video, has sparked outrage across the military community. Critics are calling on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to make an example out of him under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Watson no doubt believes he's launching a congressional career with his actions (this has shades of Alexander Vindman's treachery) or, at the very least, a special guest appearance alongside other deluded rubes like Marjorie Taylor Greene on MS NOW.
That said, this is a rather serious offense. Watson's actions, in military uniform just outside the Capitol, while ranting in a hostile manner, could have been viewed as a legitimate threat to his safety.
"When the President of the United States orders military action against foreign countries, absent an emergency scenario, where American interests are under imminent, dire threat -- as was done with Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran -- that's an unconstitutional usurpation of Congress' authority, and a violation of the War Powers Clause," Watson foamed at the mouth. "These violations resulted in the deaths of 13 service members, and injuries of hundreds more."
"For this, the president and vice president must be impeached, convicted, and removed."
Hey, uh, Jason? Tell me you have a simplistic and legally flawed understanding of presidential war powers without telling me, brother.
As Commander-in-Chief, the president has broad constitutional authority to direct military operations in response to national security threats, protect U.S. interests, or respond to attacks—without needing prior congressional approval for every limited action or strike.
Perhaps stick to something you do know. Or at least should know — That officers are expected to follow lawful orders from the chain of command, and that publicly accusing the president of high crimes while in uniform crosses into prohibited political speech under UCMJ rules.
Enjoy your court-martial and dishonorable discharge, Chief.

Watson's attention whore moment has been tied to leftist advocacy groups and soon-to-be former Democrat Rep. Al Green (TX-9). Green publicly appeared with Watson at the event, spoke in support afterward, and was present for the protest/arrest.
The Air Force Major also took part in an event organized by the Removal Coalition (a group pushing for Trump’s removal), alongside figures like Jessica Denson and other anti-Trump activists.

Green, after losing his primary back in May, threatened President Trump, saying, "You will hear from me again.”
One has to wonder how much of a role he played in facilitating this stunt. Two men united in their shared delusions, grandstanding in the hopes that somebody—anybody—will pay attention to them and give meaning to their otherwise meaningless existence.
