As we've been reporting, Tuesday is primary runoff day with a bunch of hot Texas races, from the Senate, with incumbent Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) against Trump-endorsed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, to the House race with Maureen Galindo, the Democrat who made vile rants against "Zionists."

The Texas Senate Runoff Just Delivered a Brutal Verdict for the GOP Establishment
One of the hot races was in the 18th district. It pitted Rep. Christian Menefee, who had won the seat in a special election in January, against Rep. Al Green (TX-09), whose district had been redrawn and who decided to run in the more comfortably blue 18th.
Decision Desk has already called it.

It really wasn't even close. At last check, Menefee had 68.6 percent, Green had 31.4 percent. Al Green has been in Congress for 21 years.

Green is also the one who PROTESTED Trump's speech in Congress 🤡
LMAO! Good riddance, clown! This is a great night 🔥 pic.twitter.com/IWiOsi50RZ
So that means...¡Adiós, Al Green!
He might have done better staying in the 9th; he scarcely could have done worse. And thanks for the added benefits of redistricting! Looks like Al is going to be out, while President Donald Trump - whom Green kept railing about and trying to impeach - remains.
So it's only appropriate that we recall a few of our favorite Al Green moments.

How's that going, Al? Even his Democrat buddies realized that was a lost cause in 2025.

Then there was the cringe response to Green being censured.
CRINGE AF!

The Democrats began singing “We Shall Overcome” in the middle of a vote to censure Al Green for interrupting President Trump’s speech. pic.twitter.com/BjEJGeQuYv
We're going to miss ya, Al, you've been great fun.
