As we reported, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) national co-chair Megan Romer dropped a stunning admission, when she appeared on Fox News and confirmed a list of the unhinged things that her organization supports.
DSA Co-Chair Megan Romer confirms their platform includes:

- Abolishing the Senate, presidency, & Supreme Court
- Abolishing ICE, borders, & prisons
- Defunding the Pentagon
- Mass amnesty for illegals pic.twitter.com/rPQiT9HCXN
Then, she also made a telling confession that she hadn't been contacted by any Democrats asking her to tone down what she is saying. That says a lot. Instead, the Democrat leaders are saying "big tent," and not calling them out.

But apparently Romer still wants to be the gift that keeps on giving, opening eyes into how awful socialism is. She went into the typical diatribe against millionaires during an interview on The New Yorker Radio Hour with David Remnick.
Among the things she said was that the DSA believes in "taxing the hell out of millionaires." In perhaps an unusual move for a liberal media outlet, Remnick then asked what exactly that meant. Her surprised face at about seven seconds in shows she didn't expect it. It doesn't go well.

She then struggles to explain what that actually means:
Remnick: "What does 'taxing the hell out of them' mean?"
Romer: "Yeah. You know, again, I don't have, like, a solid…"
Remnick: "But… pic.twitter.com/JMKW1egLM9
Romer replied, "Yeah. You know, again, I don't have, like, a solid…"
Remnick pressed, "But shouldn't you?"
Romer stammered, "Umm, that's a good question." Yeah, so why can't you answer it? It's almost as though it's an empty slogan that you haven't ever been really asked to justify before.
Remnick kept at it, "If you're the co-chair of the DSA, shouldn't you be more specific than just taxing the hell out of something? What exactly do you mean?"
Then Romer delivered up a word salad worthy of Kamala Harris, as Remnick looks on quizzically, trying to understand.
'So it's democracy, right? We have to look at what we have to spend, and what we need. We don't want to depend on the existence of millionaires, because that means people are still getting exploited. So yeah, we need to look at what we need to pay for in the interim, what sort of tax base we need for that to happen, and build from there."
That sounds like she wants to tax people based on how much they want to spend. Yikes. Can you imagine how much that would be, based on all the things that the DSA wants to take over? And unless that's voted on by the individual voter, no, that isn't "democracy." Plus, we're not a pure democracy; we're a constitutional republic.
Apparently the very existence of millionaires means people are being exploited. So I have a few questions. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is a socialist, worth a couple of million dollars, according to reports. Does that mean people are exploited because he's a millionaire? So, maybe he should be redistributing one of his three homes to us, right?
But this is how shallow and economically silly such comments are. The Republicans need to put these things in ads and point them right at the Democrats, who have encouraged this, and warn of what might be coming if Democrats manage to take back power.
People had thoughts.
This is the way, for anyone in politics. Make them fully explain their positions, the way in which they will implement it, and the reason why they have the position to being with (i.e. what specific problem is this solving). https://t.co/7XA7nYPpH4
