Anti-ICE agitators have been wreaking havoc at the Delaney Hall ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, for about a week. Democratic politicians have also shown up, stoking the situation.
ICE agents have allegedly been attacked. There has even been an activist making a death threat against an agent and his family. There have been several people arrested, and authorities are looking for the guy who made the threat.
The activists claim they're upset about the treatment of detainees. The agitators chanted, "Every cop, every fed, shoot yourself in the head," and they think the detainees should be released.

One claim is that there is a problem with the food, and some of the detainees are on a hunger strike. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has denied any issue with the food.
Now, two reports further take down the claim.
First, here's Fox's Alexis McAdams with a copy of the menu for the facility. Not only do they probably eat better than Americans held in regular prisons, but they may eat better than a lot of Americans.

Everything from burritos to jambalaya - according to DHS.

It doesn't look fancy, but it looks filling. As DHS head Markwayne Mullin stated, it's not a Holiday Inn. Frankly, the breakfast looks similar to Holiday Inn breakfasts.

Then, there's this report that,` in addition to whatever is on the menu, the detainees also have access to a commissary, and some of them are pounding down those Doritos and Honey Buns.

That doesn't sound like a hunger strike if people are eating Doritos and Little Debbie snack cakes.
Sounds like the Democrats pushing this narrative have been selling us a bill of goods. But it's all about attacking the system, now that Trump is in charge. They are treating the enforcement of the law as wrong.
