Anti-ICE Crew's Embarrassing, 'Find Out' Moments in Newark

The anti-ICE crew was out at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Newark, New Jersey, again on Tuesday.

The anti-ICE crew has been causing some issues at the facility for the last few days. As we reported on Monday, they were even joined by Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) and Gov. Mikie Sherrill. Kim got into the facility to see detainees, but Sherrill was unsuccessful. The activists tried to blockade exits and scuffled with federal agents who had to deploy pepper spray on Monday. Kim appeared to be affected by the pepper spray.

The activists allege there are bad conditions in the facility. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) denies that.

The activists, as noted, were out again on Tuesday. There was one humorous moment when the activists appeared to make an embarrassing mistake, as you can see in a clip here on X.

First, two guys came out. One may have been a detainee — at least, the reporter on the scene identified one as a detainee — but the second guy started talking up "Geo Company," which provides services for the facility. That didn't make the activists happy at all, accusing the company of giving "billions" to the "Nazis." To which the man smiled and shrugged his shoulders as he walked away, waving goodbye to the staffers.

Then came the embarrassing and funniest part. Two Hispanic-looking guys in t-shirts came out, and the activists cheered, apparently thinking they were detainees being released.

But that's when the staff guarding the gate started laughing their heads off. "They work here, dumba***s!" They mocked the activists, "That's racist! They just assumed! They just assumed they got released!"

The activists were apparently clapping for folks who worked for ICE. Doesn't get better than that, and the folks working at the gate got a real belly laugh out of it. But doesn't that say everything? Pro tip? They should know that a ton of Hispanic people work for the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) and ICE.

Then there was another moment when Fox senior reporter Alexis McAdams nailed the activists for the foul language.

Warning for graphic language in the following videos:

McAdams said it was a "constant" thing with which reporters had to deal, explaining the activists wanted the detainees released, and that wasn't something the Department of Homeland Security was going to do.

The woman was not happy with her, proving McAdams' point about the language by then calling her “a Nazi b—ch, you’re a Nazi b—ch."

Fox's Will Cain sarcastically termed it the “eloquent argument made against the presence of Alexis McAdams.”

There were multiple clashes throughout the day between the agents and the activists. But this "find out" moment happened after an agent allegedly had an umbrella thrown at him, and they chased this guy down. They also used pepper spray for crowd control. Elaad Eliahu caught the action.

They also nabbed this guy, unceremoniously lifting him and carting him off.

DHS said that two people had been arrested.
