Democrats have truly boxed themselves in with their support of Graham Platner as things he said in the past continue to drop and torpedo his candidacy for the Senate in Maine.
As we reported, one of the latest things that came out over the past week was this vile Reddit rant he made about a wounded American soldier in 2019. So not when he was a child or particularly young.
"Dumb motherf----- didn't deserve to live. At least his stupidity and fat a-- wheezing are available for all future infantrymen to witness and hold in contempt. Poor marksmanship on the Taliban's part is the only reason this mouthbreather made it home. He managed to make every possible s--- decision possible when it comes to small unit combat."
And of course, that's on top of all the other ugly things that have already come out about him.

Rob O’Neill, the U.S. Navy SEAL credited with killing Osama bin Laden, ripped Platner for the response, "Mr. Platner was way out of line talking about a soldier that way."
Fox Digital confronted him about the comment. You would think maybe he would try to apologize, and they asked him if he would—no such luck.
FIRST ON FOX: Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner dodges an apology when confronted over a deleted Reddit post where he said a Purple Heart recipient "didn’t deserve to live."

Fox News Digital asked him what he would say to offended voters — and whether he owed Pfc.… pic.twitter.com/eYyvKxKQ6c
Platner instead pointed to his own service: "I did four tours in the infantry, any attempt to say that I disrespect veterans is slanderous and offensive."
He then asked, "Do you know how many of my friends got Purple Hearts? Do you know how many of my friends got wounded?"
The reporter acknowledged probably "a lot," with which Platner concurred.
Sorry, dude, when you're saying the wounded soldier "didn't deserve to live," there's something wrong there. It surely sounds "disrespectful" to me. Platner didn't even bother to do the weak "You're misinterpreting what I was saying" option in that clip. And the anger he's displaying - when he's the one who made the gross comment - not a great look, when you're trying to argue you have the temperament to be a senator.
This is the guy they've wrapped their hopes around in Maine? This is who the former Democratic Gov. Janet Mills was trailing? Of course, the problem is that there probably are leftist voters who would still vote for him, even with this and all the other issues. That tells you everything about how twisted the left is at this point. Why would anyone vote for someone with this many questions?
As White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson observed, Platner's response was an "extremely bizarre position" and "the modern Democrat party."
Refusing to back down from saying American soldiers “didn’t deserve to live” is an extremely bizarre position. The modern Democrat party… https://t.co/h1l9nqoIty
