The Democrats are so upset they're losing the redistricting battle.
I wrote earlier on Saturday on how Kamala Harris is now promoting a slew of bad ideas in response, including going after the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court, and making Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., new U.S. states.
It just shows that to the Dems, it isn't about the rule of law or the Constitution: it's about how they can get control and/or hold onto it.

What makes the Democrats' meltdown even better, and puts some icing on the cake, is just how much money they spent on the losing effort attempting to add four seats in Virginia. Republicans were already up in the money race for the midterms by a lot, but then Democrats just compounded their problems.
Before voters cast their ballots in Virginia’s April redistricting referendum, the 10 wealthiest Republican-aligned political committees had close to twice as much cash on hand as their Democratic counterparts, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Despite this, Democratic-aligned groups poured more than $64 million into their attempt to net four congressional seats by redrawing Virginia’s congressional map, a bet that ultimately failed to pay off after the Virginia Supreme Court invalidated the redistricting process due to a procedural constitutional violation.
About $40 million of that came from House Majority Forward, a Democratic-aligned 501(c)(4) nonprofit affiliated with House Majority PAC, the super PAC backing House Democrats.
Translation? That's money that just went down the sewer that can't go to promoting Democrats for the midterms because the Democrats were so desperate to change the game to help themselves in that state, regardless of the legal issues. Great job, Democrats!

Between that and how Kamala Harris blew through her campaign cash, why would anyone want Democrats in charge of anything when they show this kind of attitude?``
On top of that, it's truly embarrassing for all the Democrats who pushed the Virginia debacle, despite knowing there were big legal problems with it. That was a lot of Democrats, from former Pres. Barack Obama, to current Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08).
"So-called ‘Leader’ Hakeem Jeffries lit well north of $55 million on fire chasing illegal redistricting fantasies, only to fall flat on his face in spectacular fashion," National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Mike Marinella told Fox News Digital. "National Democrats are already drowning in a massive cash deficit against Republicans while the NRCC and our battle-tested candidates continue shattering fundraising records and building momentum for 2026." [....]
"Jeffries is proving he’s no Nancy Pelosi, and Democrats are getting an expensive lesson in the difference between media hype and actual leadership," Marinella continued.
Democrats managed to hoodwink themselves, and hopefully, it comes back to bite them big time in the midterms.
