The redistricting battle has been a real window into how far Democrats are willing to go to get - or keep - power. The meltdowns have been epic.
Perhaps one of the funniest responses was from Kamala Harris. She keeps trying to remain relevant, likely to stoke her hopes for a 2028 presidential run. But having the queen of the empty word salads trying to rally Democrats by claiming there are "no bad ideas" is quite something. She then went viral for pushing a bunch of... bad ideas.
Kamala Harris is now calling for Democrats to hold a “No Bad Idea Brainstorm” where they discuss:

- Abolishing the Electoral College
- Packing the Supreme Court
- Making Puerto Rico and D.C. states

Harris then hit the wish list of Democrats' push to grab power, from attacking the Electoral College and packing the Supreme Court, to making Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., into states. They're "saving democracy" and stopping red states from "cheating" - by working to upend our foundations to completely grab power. All because they don't like court decisions. Buh-bye, rule of law. Yet, Republicans are the fascists? Imagine if Republicans had said this.
What's funny, too, is that Harris talked about the Electoral College, but she still would have lost even if it were based on the popular vote.
I don't even know what Kamala was talking about regarding Supreme Court nominees lying to the Senate Judiciary Committee. There are already "rules in place" - if you lie to Congress while testifying under oath, you can face perjury charges.
Then Harris sid they have to look at all the blue states' maps, not understanding that they've largely gerrymandered what they could.
Harris also made a video call on "voting rights" to Democrat Tennessee state Rep. Justin Pearson, who got in a wild exchange with a state trooper when the Legislature passed new district maps.

This was quite something, starting with it looked like she just rolled out of bed or was having other issues. It's so cringeworthy.
You can redraw districts, but you cannot erase the power of the people.

This week, I spoke with @Justinjpearson about our continued fight for voting rights — even in the face of efforts to silence and divide us. pic.twitter.com/MbMTvJOehm

They're upset that the Supreme Court ruled against unconstitutional racial gerrymandering, and she wants to recast that as racism and somehow a deprival of voting rights - when no one loses any right to vote.
Well, maybe a few bad ideas. https://t.co/fcCspd8FGS

Again, Democrats aren't being honest here - what they are upset about is the potential loss of their own power if things are done according to the rule of law.
