President Donald Trump's deadline of 8.00 p.m. EST for the Iranian regime to open the Strait of Hormuz or face a big attack that could include power plants and/or bridges is counting down.

As we reported, the U.S. has already hit a very important target, taking out more military facilities on Kharg Island.

Iran, in a vile move, said they were "urging" their people to stand out on bridges and at power plants on Tuesday to protect them. Talk about human shields and a war crime.

Israel also indicated that it had hit train tracks and bridges used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) earlier.

The Iranian people had been warned the night before to avoid trains, to avoid getting hit.

The IDF targeted several railways and bridges across Iran, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday, describing the operation as an effort to cripple the regime's capacity to move its missile launchers to prevent identification by Israeli and US forces.

'Today, they [the IDF] attacked the train tracks and bridges used by the Revolutionary Guards," said Netanyahu. "They use these to transport raw materials for weapons, the weapons themselves, and the operatives who attack us, the US, and the countries of the region, the same operatives who also oppress the Iranian people."

They targeted 10 bridges to reduce the weapons transfer capabilities.

Trump Issues Dire Warning to Iran With Hours Left in Deadline: ‘Whole Civilization Will Die Tonight’

Now reports from the Iranian state media are that they've cut off direct communication with the U.S. Iran International English (which is not controlled by the regime) says they've cut all diplomatic and indirect channels of communication with the United States, citing what the state-run Tehran Times reported on Tuesday. "Any and all message exchanges have also been suspended."

But the Wall Street Journal is saying that while direct communication has been cut, talks with cease-fire mediators continue, Middle Eastern officials said.

The move has temporarily complicated efforts to make a deal by Trump’s 8 p.m. deadline Tuesday but hasn’t ended the talks, the officials said.

One of the officials said Iran intended to send a signal of disapproval and defiance by severing communications. It is unclear if direct talks will resume before the deadline. The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Iranian state media played a video of people out on the Ahvaz White Bridge.

There were also reports of people out by one of the power plants.

So we'll say, "regime media." But also, if it's true, it shows they don't care about their people; for the regime, they are just human shields. But it also looks as though they might not have gotten a lot of people out, as we're only seeing videos of a couple of locations, so far.

Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
