The Democrats' reaction to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) being deployed to help out at airports has to be one of the most ridiculous things we've seen from them yet, and that's certainly saying something, given their history of ridiculous behavior.
But according to people like Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), ICE was going to brutalize people and kill them. Sen. Cory Book (D-NJ) had this ridiculous moment where he set up a podium in the middle of Newark Airport, cried about the "chaos," and basically no one cared.

Not only weren't ICE bringing chaos, but they were doing all they could to help out with a problem that the Democrats themselves created. They even saved the life of a baby at one of the airports, as we reported.

That was blowing up the ridiculous Democratic narrative. The American people got to see other Americans who have been so demonized by the left, handing out water bottles, being helpful, even taking people's places in TSA lines so people could go to the bathroom. You can see a female ICE agent taking people's places in line in this video on X.

The Daily Wire's Jennie Taer was at George Bush Intercontinental, where the lines were the worst, and she said people were very appreciative of what ICE was doing.
This lady even asked the agents how her son could become one of them, then wished them a "blessed day" and shook their hands.

Not only was it good for the public to have such interactions, but I think it was good for ICE to see people appreciating them since they have been so shabbily treated by the left for doing their jobs for all of us.
But I have to say that one of the best videos of the week on the subject has to be this one, when ICE agents were confronted by a leftist who claimed they were the "foot soldiers of a fascist regime." The reactions were priceless.

First, the face of the agent in the blue shirt was great when he turned to the lefitst like he had three heads. Then the guy behind him couldn't contain himself and just broke out laughing. The leftist appeared perturbed that the agent thought his comment was funny.
But it is. These folks live in an alternate universe apart from reality. In the real world, these guys are working hard against great odds to do the job that the American people and the law have tasked them to do. It's the left that is twisted on the issue, not ICE. And it's good that that man found out exactly what people, including the agents, think of this take.
Good job to those ICE agents and all the other ones helping out at the airports. You are appreciated.
