Chuck Todd Ratioed Into Next Week for 'But Trump' Response Over Biden Decline

If you wonder why people no longer trust the media, and why the press was so awful when it comes to the Joe Biden cognitive decline story, you would need to look no further than a rant by former MSNBC host Chuck Todd on X.

You really think it’ll age well?

As Jake Tapper has noted, Biden enablers used this same excuse to justify not revealing what was going on with Joe Biden: that there was some existential threat from Trump. Not only was that wrong, but even if it had been true it wouldn't justify not being truthful about Biden.

It's not a "victory lap" to know that Democrats were trying to buffalo us on this issue. Indeed, it put this country in danger. Democrats involved in any cover-up should be held accountable and should never have power again.

Then too, equating Biden and Trump is ridiculous. No, Trump doesn't have cognitive decline like Biden; Trump can talk for hours without notes with the media. Nobody is hiding anything about Trump. If anything, he's overly transparent. He's very clearly in charge, unlike the situation with Biden where we have to wonder who was running things. Democrats not liking what Trump has to say is not the same thing as Biden's cognitive decline.

This takes some nerve from Todd, too. Trying to blame people on the right with some false equivalence takes real audacity, given what Democrats and many in the media did here.

Not only is Trump leading with incredible moments, like his Oval Office showdown with the South African president, but he is also inspiring his Cabinet secretaries, who are vigorously defending his agenda. Biden cut off his Cabinet secretaries, and they didn't know if he could handle a 2 a.m. emergency. We are finally, after having an empty seat for so long, seeing what it's like to have someone in charge taking real action on issues. Democrats are still fighting against that.

It doesn't look like Chuck has learned anything.

Todd's post was understandably crushed with a huge ratio.
