New Interview With Authors of Biden Book Reveals More Shocking Info, Who They Hold to Blame

The book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, "Original Sin," was officially released on Tuesday.

Thompson and Tapper were on CBS to talk about their "exposé." Thompson also posted a segment of the book showing a disturbing interaction that Philadelphia Gov. Josh Shapiro had with Joe Biden.

Shapiro wanted to talk with Biden about concerns regarding polling numbers and inflation. But the minute he brought it up, Jill Biden cut him off at the pass and ushered Joe out.

Shapiro said it appeared they didn't want Biden to hear how bad things were.

Did they not want him to know because they didn't want to hurt him because he couldn't deal with it? Or because they didn't want him to quit?

Tapper and Thompson then laid out other incidents during their interview.

Tapper said they were repeatedly lied to by the Biden White House; they were told he was "fine." He said after the election, they spoke to over 200 Democratic insiders who then spilled the degree to which Biden was addled. Thompson said they shielded Biden from public view and even from aides. Tapper also blamed Jill, Hunter, Joe, and some of the top aides for "hiding" the "non-functioning" Biden. They spoke about cutting off the Cabinet secretaries with some not being confident that Biden could handle a 2 a.m. emergency. The panel also talked about Biden lighting out for dinner at 4:30 p.m.

Gayle King nailed Tapper on why they didn't report some of these things when they happened. Tapper said they didn't know some of these things. Tapper said the people covering some of these things up justified themselves that Donald Trump was a threat to the country. But when he won they no longer had anything to hold them back from spilling what had occurred.

The Biden people have claimed that national security was affected. That's an insane defense to all this. But Tapper says that wasn't even true in the second segment in the above video. He said Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) was having a conversation about a terrorist in Gitmo, and he became concerned because he didn't think Biden was comprehending what they were talking about. There was another incident with Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) where he thought Biden was so addled at an immigration event, so he left, thinking this is why our policy is so addled.

Thompson said he thought there should be disclosures under oath to prevent this from happening again. Tapper said there was no evidence of any cognitive decline in Trump, which was interesting.

Yes, they should have more protections. They already have something in place - the 25th Amendment, but Democrats didn't have the honesty to employ it. But they also need to hold people accountable who were involved. Tapper said it shouldn't be "tolerated" again. But the only reason it was, was because the mainstream media didn't hold the Biden team/Democrats feet to the fire on it. We were reporting the issues every day. The evidence was plain to see.

In the third segment, they admit Biden was slipping even in 2020. Thompson said Biden ran again because the Biden people didn't have confidence that Kamala Harris could win.

The conclusion of the interview is bizarre: that this is why we have Trump, as though Trump is the existential bad, rather than seeing reality. This may be the worst cover-up in history, and it truly endangered and grievously harmed the country and the American people.

But even now, Democrats don't want to admit it and continue to blame everyone but themselves.
