Who's Running the Country? Netanyahu Left Hanging As Biden, Harris Go MIA

As we reported, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington this week to give an address before the U.S. Senate. Now you would think that either Joe Biden or his second, Kamala Harris -- the person who wants the Democratic nomination for president without a single primary vote -- would be there to greet him. Biden allegedly had COVID, so that's an excuse. But where was Kamala? Missing in action.

That isn't the way that you treat the visiting head of state, especially not a strong ally.

The meeting with Biden was scrapped because of his alleged COVID.

But it also says something about Kamala's attitude toward support for our allies and Israel. She is passing on presiding over the Senate during his speech, which is rude, and sends a bad message to Netanyahu. After all that broke and he said that he wanted to meet with former President Donald Trump, then came the news that now she is supposed to be having a private meeting with him.

It's not clear what Biden's status is in regard to the meeting now that he's supposedly recovered. He's reportedly coming back from Rehoboth Beach Tuesday afternoon, according to his public schedule. So we may finally get some proof of life after he went into "isolation" last Wednesday allegedly because of COVID because right now, the speculation is running wild after him not even appearing live to drop out. The last we saw of Biden was him struggling to even get into a car, and he wasn't wearing a mask, despite the alleged diagnosis and his admonition to everyone else to wear masks. Although he's returning Tuesday afternoon, he has nothing on the public schedule planned for the rest of the day.

Biden is supposed to address the nation about his decision to drop out of the 2024 race at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. I wrote on Saturday about his call to the campaign office in Delaware, but he didn't explain his reasoning, although he did encourage his staff to support Kamala. Presumably, we will finally hear what the "official" excuse is. That's going to be something since if it's health, then they've been lying to us, and if it's polls, it's subverting democracy. We'll just have to see what malarkey they write on his teleprompter for him to read -- badly -- to us. But then, hopefully, we'll get a real live look and be able to evaluate his condition.
