Things are pretty crazy with all the news regarding Joe Biden's finally caving into the coup attempt to get him out of the election race. That was likely a foregone conclusion once the donors dried up and once the elites like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Barack Obama got involved.

But what a wild way to drop out of the race, opting for a letter instead of making public remarks (although he did say he would talk later this week). And he didn't even initially endorse Kamala Harris. As of last night, the campaign was supposedly all systems go.

People in the campaign were completely caught off guard.

In another sign of how the president’s decision stunned even his own staff, his Delaware-based campaign leadership concluded a staff call with state aides just minutes before Biden released his letter withdrawing from the race.
“I don’t think a soul in Delaware knew,” said the official, alluding to Biden staff.

Biden advisor Anita Dunn conducted an all-hands call to tell the White House staff after Biden announced it.

Dunn told staff that they were all processing at the same time, implying that she herself wasn't aware beforehand. And she confirmed that it was an extremely small group of people who knew that Biden had made this decision.

Who knew what, and when -- what a mess. Some joked, perhaps only half kidding, that Joe might not even know yet, given the screwy way in which this transpired.

These actions are so typical of Biden and the Democrats. They don't care about the voters and who they voted for. As I noted in an earlier piece, this is really an attack on democracy, subverting the will of the voters. They don't care about those 14 million votes if it endangers their control. But Biden doesn't even respect their own campaign and White House staff enough to give them proper notice before they drop it on the world.

That's not a good recommendation going forward. Why would Americans vote for this clown car party/team, whoever ultimately ends up as their nominee? They've already proved they don't care about Americans.
