Biden's 'Hot Mic' Moment About Israel at the SOTU Is Epically Bad

As we reported earlier, Joe Biden is planning on making a move that will put our military in danger. He's going to have them involved in building a "port" off Gaza that will help he able to ship more aid into the area. As I noted, Biden's take at the SOTU on the move was typically deceptive. He said there would be no "boots on the ground." But the New York Times revealed the plan involved hundreds if not thousands of US military right off the shore for 30 to 60 days. How is that not putting them in great danger? Biden is doing that as an olive branch to the left in the hopes that he can pull them back into the fold and have them vote for him come November.

Even Dems Protest Biden's SOTU in the Chamber, as He Caves With Move That May Endanger U.S.

In addition to wanting to ship aid to Hamas supporters and have it likely be swiped by Hamas, Biden got caught on a hot mic saying something incredibly dumb about pressuring Israel. Because you want to lean on the victims of the Oct. 7 massacre, not the terrorists who committed it, right? Way to throw Israel under the bus, yet again. That's giving aid and comfort to Hamas.

But that wasn't the only truly dumb part about it, as you can see, as our friends at Twitchy observed

Biden says, "I told him, Bibi, and don't repeat this, but you and I are going to have a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting."

Then he said, “I’m on a hot mic here. Good. That’s good.”

What the heck? Does Joe Biden know that maybe that's not the thing to say to the head of the Jewish state? Just a thought. Is Biden really that clueless and out of it? What a way to prove how incapable he is of intelligent foreign policy. Is it any wonder why our foreign policy is in shambles with this guy?

Now, of course, we have to consider that this is also possibly not true, given Biden's tendency to embellish and pump himself up to make himself sound tough. But the fact that he thinks this is good says something bad about both him and his Democratic audience.

The guy who posted the video, Sawyer Hackett, is a Democratic strategist who is always posting pro-Biden things. So why is he posting about this epic cluelessness of Biden? Well, I'm not in his head, but I have to think he thinks this will appeal to the left. That seemed to be the theme of Biden's SOTU — how to reel the left back into the fold. But it's not going to appeal to folks on the left who are supportive of Israel or anyone with sense.
