Even Dems Protest Biden's SOTU in the Chamber, As He Caves With Move That May Endanger U.S.

Joe Biden gave a very angry State of the Union speech on Thursday night. Nothing in it was inspirational or unifying. He attacked Republicans and blamed them for everything. He even attacked the Supreme Court with some of the Justices sitting in front of him. It was supposed to be the State of our Union, but he spent a big part of the start of the speech talking about Ukraine because that's his priority.

Compare that to his offhand comment about Laken Riley, and it's shameful.

But it should also be noted that he faced some protest from his own party. We mentioned the anti-Israel activists who were trying to block the streets around the Capitol.

But there were also "activists" in the chamber -- Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) were wearing keffiyehs and holding up signs that said "Lasting permanent ceasefire." Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was holding up a sign that said "Stop sending bombs" and Rep. Ayanna Presley (D-MA) also had a ceasefire sign.

Tlaib and Bush put a keffiyeh on Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA).

Meanwhile, American and Israeli hostages are still being held by the Hamas terrorists. You don't see them holding up signs for them. And it obviously wasn't a focus for Joe Biden either.

What did Biden say? Nothing about our border or action on the hostages. But he is focused on delivering aid to the supporters of Hamas in Gaza. Does he not know that they voted in Hamas and that any aid going in is likely going right into the hands of Hamas? But he doesn't seem to care about that. Now he said the U.S. was going to be involved in a "mission" to build a "port" in Gaza to receive supplies. He claims that there would be no boots on the ground, but how could that be if our military is involved in constructing it?

Turns out it's typical Joe Biden deception.

U.S. officials sketched out the plan, which would make the United States more directly involved in delivering aid, hours before President Biden was scheduled to give his State of the Union address on Thursday evening. [....]

Briefing reporters, officials said it could take more than 30 to 60 days to implement, and involve hundreds or thousands of U.S. troops on ships just off shore, in keeping with Mr. Biden’s mandate that no American soldiers be on the ground inside Gaza as the conflict rages. The port would be constructed in cooperation with other countries in the region, the officials said.

So they're not "on the ground" -- they're just offshore in a stationary position, so they're easy targets for a month to two months. Is he insane? How do you get us even more involved and endanger our military members?

Why is foreign aid to people who voted for Hamas terrorists our problem, particularly while our hostages are being held? And notice he announced nothing in regard to our own border.

This port move is only because Biden wants to offer a sop to the left. But why do this when the problem isn't the amount of aid but the leadership that cuts off the aid and steals it? Are you just delivering more right into their hands? And what happens when they seize or attack the port you build? What will he say when our people are attacked?
